Whitefish Lake is just half a block away, offering easy access to fishing, swimming, and boating. There's 600 feet of private beach, and if you're bringing a boat along, boat slips are available for small HOA and registration fees. Heading into town is easy from here - it's less than two miles to the shops and restaurants. A gas fireplace warms the air as you unwind to a cable marathon on return emails over the free WiFi. The cheery, open kitchen has everything you need to make excellent meals for your party, including a dishwasher. Eat inside at the dining table or head outside to the deck, where you'll find a grill and patio furniture. Six guests will have a blast at this condo. The bedroom downstairs has two queen beds, and there is a king in the bedroom upstairs. Two full bathrooms and a washer and dryer help keep you feeling fresh and clean. THINGS TO KNOW The pool/hot tub building is closed from the beginning of April until around May 20th of each year. This property is managed by David Wilson of Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Montana LLC, license #PMP-RPM-LIC-118717 Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Dock details: All boats, trailers, and personal watercraft on Bay Point property must be registered with the Bay Point HOA manager before launching. This is done with a phone call to the HOA manager. Boat slips are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please use only the boat slip assigned to you. All boats and personal watercraft must be secured in a boat slip at night. For safety no boats or watercraft are allowed to be left overnight tied to the day docks for any reason. All boats and watercraft must be secured for the night in the assigned boat slip. Boat trailers are stored off property. HOA manager will assist with boat trailer storage location. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. We were very close to Whitefish as well as Kalispell where we both had family. It was like a Disney movie set outside when we went in October. There were deer that we could feed apples to from the apple tree down the path, and birds would that eat out of our hand on the balcony. There are no amenities so it is bare bones so if you plan on cooking be prepared to bring/buy utensils and ALL ingredients. There also was only a paper on the fridge with rules but no other information about property/area so you kind of are on your own with that (where we are allowed on the property/ how to access beach) . A management property runs it so you are in contact with them but for me it was too much texting from their side and also they request you use their website for help/info when I feel like I would prefer to just use VRBO. ##### Marina C. Kitchen light didn’t work so we cooked early or cooked in the dark. Other light flickered and we made jokes it was haunted. Dried vomit was on the carpet in the upstairs bedroom but it didn’t smell so that is good. Mystery stains on the couches again this made us laugh. Dishwasher works but the cleaning tablet didn’t dissolve which explains the dried food on some of the dishes. We just washed the dishes before and after meals. The back door doesn’t lock but it is high off the ground so there were no safety concerns. Beds slept good and the shower pressure is amazing. Loved the shampoo products and the washing machine and dryer worked great. Would I rent again? YES. Because of the price. It was a littler disappointing that we offered to pay more in order to push it back a few weeks when the husbands would have been off again but they have a no change policy even with the offer that we pay more. So that put a bit if a damper on the stay. For that reason we would look elsewhere for accommodation when we come down as we come down on a regular basis. Jan 8, 2023 #### Great place, location, but needs a bit of love Beds were big and comfy, felt very at home. Location was so nice overlooking the lake and near downtown - 5 mins drive. A Ptarmigan Village on the lake, older, but was very nostalgic for us. The one big CON was about Vacasa - there was no duvet on the master king bed upstairs, only top sheets. We emailed/messaged and live chat didn’t work, and no one responded after several attempts across platforms. We had to give a duvet from downstairs to our elderly parents do they wouldn’t freeze to death as it was around 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit. So one of us downstairs only had a top sheet and slept in full clothes and wool socks. Other cons were microwave didn’t work downstairs, no cutlery downstairs, indoor pool was closed the whole time even though it said it was supposed to be open. Generally the place was very clean but just a bit over the line of verging on run down in some aspects. For the price, was great value for sure, and we got very early check in. We were just pretty upset about the duvet and lack of communication from Vacasa, otherwise it would be 4/5 stars. Two days before we arrived in Whitefish it was -4 to -15 Fahrenheit so I don’t know what we would have done since there wasn’t even throws or blankets to supplement the lack of duvet on the master bed. Overall, great time, but could have been much better - would recommend investing just a bit of money into small detail renovations. ##### Rhys H.
