After a tiring, 10+ hours of travel, we went to the lockbox for the key. The box was empty. We called the phone number in the check-in instructions and went to the existing reservations branch. We were on hold for so long our phone disconnected. This occurred twice. We then tried the text line. No response. We called a third time and went to the “new reservation” branch. The phone was answered promptly. (Priorities, I guess.) The representative connected us with the local manager. He had us use a different lockbox and code. A key was present. We returned to the condo building. The unit number in our instructions was not on any door in the building. We again spoke to the local rep and he told us where the unit was located. It had a different number than the number given. Wouldn't that info be nice to have in the instructions? After approx. an hour delay, we were finally able to move in. BTW, the text was answered 2 hours later. The condo itself was older but very nice. Furnishings were up to date and comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Condiments are sparse. The front right heating element on the stove only cooks on high. We did enjoy our stay at this condo aside from the very unnecessary check-in hassle. Management is poor. We will return to Whitefish but seek different lodging. ##### Gerard W. Aug 27, 2024 #### Nice condo Refer to the other reviews for the check-in issues .. no difference with us, keys were not in the lockbox, but a very responsive customer service was able to get us a another set. Still caused unnecessary anxiety after a long road trip. Overall, it was a very nice condo, I would likely stay here again. The only downsides were specifically being told the pool was not an amenity but it being accessible on the same floor, and pictures of the condo included a pool giving you the impression that you have access. Try telling four small kids on vacation that we don't have a pool. I don't know why they don't allow access to the pool, that seems silly. It slept nicely, the king bed is a bit bouncy. There is no way to darken the room with white curtains. I love a sunrise as much as the next person, but on vacation I'd like to sleep in rather than get up with the sun. ##### Rick S. Actually the first left goes up the mountain. The second left will take you into a parking lot and 100 yds back is the postal box area. The key box is attached to one of the wooden posts that is the roof structure to the postal boxes. It is about eye level and white. The condo is just up the road from here. When you arrive use the key to let yourself into the garage. Cross the garage and go up the stairs. The listing says unit 201 but on the door it says Sherpa 1\. It is on the second floor. Let yourself in and get the garage door opener, go back downstairs and let yourself into the garage. The parking is very tight with poles only a car will fit. No suvs. I hope This helps especially if you are arriving late at night like I did. ##### Cliff M. Jul 12, 2022 #### Nw Cup We were there for 4 days for the NW Bike Cup, the boys really enjoyed how close the lifts were and so easy to get to. Being able to shower after dusty rides and relax on the deck was their go to. A locked garage for the safety of their bikes was a huge relief. Plenty of room, clean, everything provided all we needed was the food! I would highly recommend this stay. ##### Anita H.
