We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us. We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule. Pontiac Lake Boating & Recreational Info \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Pontiac Lake is home to a massive recreational area featuring activities from a large public lake-side beach to hiking and mountain biking trails, nature hikes, cross-country skiing, hunting, fishing, boating, and many other activities. Also, if you have a boat and are looking to use it on Pontiac Lake, there is a public boat launch at the Pontiac Lake Rec Area Access off of Gate Road on eastern side of the lake. The location was very good for us - convenient to many things that we wanted to do. White Lake Oaks golf course very close by. The kitchen was very clean and comfortable. There were several minor issues with the property, and one not so minor. The not so minor issue is that the polished marble floor in the master bath is extremely slippery when wet. The yard had trash in it - including a board with nails and some sharp metal pieces. We picked it up and threw it away. There is a dirty oil pan (filled with oil) at the corner of the parking lot. There is a 2 1/2' deep trench in the yard that could cause someone to trip. The light switches for the dining area and the master bedroom did not work - other lights could be used, though, it just wasn't as bright as it could have been. One afternoon, the smoke detectors went off and had to be removed to quiet them. Overall, it suited our purposes. ##### Karen H.
