The walking trails to the village were great! Location on the Whistler golf course is beautiful. Things to improve: house needs to have a good cleaning, bed configuration is not as advertised (ie. Obviously had been well used and needs a refresh! It is well equipped with everything we needed. The dishwasher held stagnant water, the jacuzzi was unusable even after a re-clean, and a greasy odor lingered throughout. Surfaces, floors, and appliances were sticky enough that disposable slippers became essential. Furniture was worn, support minimal, and pool table lighting too dim for evening use. Management responded well, refunding the cleaning fee and granting late checkout, but much of our first day was spent making the place livable. It felt as if the previous guests had just left and the cleaners hadn’t finished. The home was well stocked with pantry items and kitchenware, though many were past their prime. A large wall painting gave the space an unintentional eerie vibe \[think the RING or Grudge\]. With its layout, space, and views, the property has strong potential, but it needs significant updates and a thorough deep clean.
