There has been MAJOR DAMAGE to the building on the EAST due to several pipes bursting. We could not even stay here because of this reason and had to be relocated to a different room/area that did NOT WORK OUT FOR US AND RUINED OUR VACATION. PROPERTY MGMT. NEVER NOTIFED US OR WE COULD HAVE CHANGED OUR STAY PRIOR TO COMING TO WHISTLER. WE HAVE LOST MONEY, TIME, AND VALUABLE TIME OFF OF WORK AND SCHOOL ONLY TO HAVE ZERO TIME TO SKI, ZERO TIME TO RELAX AND HAD TO BE MOVED 4 TIMES. I would not stay at this property again because of this reason - Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations (the property manager) is FAILING. (w/ a mirror to see oncoming cars) but it made it a bit challenging a couple times when new folks were exiting - not realizing the mirror would indicate a car was on the left side. We had a great experience at this location and the unit itself was very well appointed. We've stayed a many other ski condos over the years and this one was tops in terms of how well the kitchen was stocked with utensils, cooking gear, even spices and coffee! While those seem like trivial items, when they aren't there, makes eating in extremely challenging. They even had a gas grill on the deck which we weren't expecting. The unit isn't huge, but for our family of 4, it was very comfortable.
