Really impressed with this motel. Close to everything, easy check in and parking, spacious clean room and really friendly staff. Basic breakfast included was so convenient. I thought it would be noisy but with the door shut I didn’t hear any road traffic at all. Would stay here again for sure.

Gateway Motor Motel Whamganui

Very friendly and efficient staff who went out of their way to help. The Tide bus service runs past the property and we will try it out next time.

Handy base close to hospital

Good value motel very close to the hospital. Stayed in an apartment which was very clean and tidy with good facilities. It's located on a busy roundabout so there's a bit of road noise to contend with - earplugs are supplied!

It was a little bit noisy being on a main road but only for a few minutes each day. We still liked sitting on a seat outside watching the Traffic go by. Hosts were friendly.
