Wexford Bay is a fantastic location for a cottage holiday; it has 20 miles of Blue Flag sandy beaches and is surrounded by sand dunes and nature walks. Why not spend the evening in one of the numerous bustling bars and restaurants in Wexford Quays or take a boat excursion to see the seals on the sandbanks? The entrance to Waterford Harbour is marked by the oldest operational lighthouse in Britain, Hook Lighthouse, which is located at the tip of the Hook Head Peninsula in County Wexford. Waterford itself has a lot to see and do, including fantastic watersport activities and the Waterford Crystal factory, and Dublin, the capital city, is close by and perfect for a day of sightseeing and shopping.
