Secluded and right on the beach, it's awesome!
10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed the location and facilities. We enjoyed the secluded nature of the North Side of Kauai and the nice walk along the side street to Tunnels Beach. We would love to return in the future. The kitchen was plenty to make some meals, and it was a very spacious lodging for both of us. Would highly recommend on this side of the Island!"

"Beautiful, spacious home with everything you need. Comfy beds. Gorgeous views. Short walk to the beach, which was quiet. Donna was a gracious host and helped us out when the Hanalei Bridge was shut down for the day due to unexpected flooding. We hated to leave and would definitely return. "

"We were looking for an ‘Old Hawaiian’ style vacation…. And we found it! The house is big and beautiful. 45 second walk to an amazing beach! Although there r a couple other homes in this old neighborhood, it feels like a private oasis. A coffee shop is within walking distance of desired. Hanalei is a 10-15 min drive on cute old roads with single lane bridges…. Hawaii at its best. The host Brian was super responsive, helpful and committed to providing the best experience for us. "

"If you are looking to relax, this is the place. Beautiful view & sound of the ocean. The massage at the spa on premises is life changing. There is also a coffee shop & a restaurant so there is no need to leave this oasis in paradise. "

Traditional Hawaiian House - Walk to Tunnels Beach
10/10 Excellent
"The host was especially generous and cooperative with our plans. He went out of his way to work with me and VRBO to get the booking done after technical issues created some barriers. The home is a very nice and quaint set up with everything you need, especially AC. There were plenty of towels! We didn’t walk to the beach nearby because most of our plans were on other parts of the island. The location is fine but for us, it wasn’t ideal since our plans took us back to other parts of the island. So my one recommendation is to be aware of the travel time if you plan on island wide activities. One lovely benefit of the location is how dark it is and the wondrous amount of stars you can see with the naked eye. Amazing! The only disappointment was not seeing any of the animals that are typically on the neighboring property. Overall, wonderful host and home that I would highly recommend. "

"We traveled to Kauai primarily to relax. Being just steps away from the sand on a breathtaking beach was priceless. It was how we spent the majority of our time. The spot was great for snorkeling too. "
