Welcome to Fresh Off the Boat in friendly Westport, WA. This cozy family friendly cottage is oozing with coastal vibes! This cottage is conveniently located in the middle of town and is minutes away from beaches, marina, grocery, coffee shops, restaurant, brewery, & the tallest light house in WA state! You'll love cozying up around the spacious living room for movie nights, cooking a feast in the big kitchen, gaming out on the arcade, or roasting s'mores around the fire pit in the back yard. Whether you’re coming with your family, a group of friends or just by yourself, we are confident you will enjoy your stay at our home. PARKING: We have space to park up to 3 vehicles (2 in the driveway and 1 right in front of the home) THE SPACE: This home is located off the main road of Montesano in Westport. WORK FROM HOME: We have a dedicated work space for you with a desk and chair, If you work from home or just want to get away and work near the beach. LIVING ROOM: The living room is spacious with its vaulted ceilings. Cozy up around the 65" Samsung TV and sound bar for those family movie nights. We have two sofas (one is a queen size sofa sleeper) and two lounging chairs . We also have an arcade for that would take you back in time with games from Atari, NES, SNES, SEGA, Dreamcast, Gamecube & more. 1000's of games to choose from that could keep you entertained for days. For rainy days at the beach we have the house fully equipped with various board games. We also have some toys for the little ones, just in case you forgot to pack some. PRIMARY BEDROOM: King size bed. Egg chair lounger 55 inch LG Smart TV Connects to jack and jill type of bathroom 2ND BEDROOM: 2 Queen sized beds 1 lounging chair with ottoman 40" TV with Amazon Firestick for apps KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM: Our kitchen is spacious and have all the cooking essentials that you would need to cook up a feast including: \-Induction stove \-Oven \-Microwave \-Refrigerator with ice maker and water \-Crockpot \-Toaster \-Air fryer \-Coffee pot \-Kuerig \-Rice cookers \-Many pots and pans \-Wide variety of utensils \-Seasonings \-And more! Our dining table has seating for up to 6. We als have a kitchen island with counter stools with 3 additional seating. BATHROOMS: If you're bringing your family or coming with your friends, having two bathrooms will be key for a smooth stay. One bathroom has full standing shower that connects to the primary bedroom. The other bathroom in the back is spacious and comes with a full bathtub to soak. We do provide hair dryers and Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash. BACK YARD: The backyard is huge! It's fully fenced and great for entertainment if you wish to hang out outside. We have Corn Hole, Bottle Bash, Ladder Golf for some competitive fun. We have a Solo Stove fire pit that is surrounded by outdoor chairs. A great spot to tell scary stories, make s'mores or just relax by the fire with a glass of wine. On rainy days we do have a large gazebo that covers additional outdoor seating that we have. We have a large shed in the back yard with tons of things you can use at the house or at the beach. We just ask you to put everything back when you're done. GUEST ACCESS: You will have access to the entire home and yard all to yourself. LOCATION: We conveniently located in the middle of town in a safe neighborhood with a mix of residents and vacation homes and minutes away from everything Westport has to offer. Hear the crashing waves and smell the saltiness in the air from the yard. Getting around We have three parking spaces available for our home. Two in the driveway and one parallel to the front of the house . What’s great about Westport is everything is a short drive away from the cottage. It was clear that the hosts really wanted our family to enjoy themselves. There were many thoughtful items for families to enjoy like games, crabbing gear, and a fire pit. Nov 27, 2023 Liked: Check-in, communication, location Disliked: Cleanliness #### Property needs a refresh Our impression was that this was probably a primo place to stay when freshly set up, but now needs some love and attention. We had a great time. Great location, Beds were all super comfortable, even the fold out sofa. My wife loved the big wicker chair in the bedroom. Clothes washer/dryer were excellent. But Many blinds did not operate to open. Kitchen sink faucet turns on by itself. Plates, utensils, etc were all not really clean upon our arrival. I believe this is because the dishwasher does not work properly. The detergent door does not close, so detergent gets dispersed during the pre-rinse cycle, and nothing is left for the wash cycle. There was no dishwasher detergent. We bought some, and took it with us when we left. Aluminum does not work on an induction stove. We marked an aluminum fry pan with duct tape. Heat register on kitchen floor is a wall register, not made to be walked on. You can purchase a more robust floor register that can handle people stepping on it. Cleanliness: Bathroom vent needs cleaning. It's coated with a thick layer of dust. Bedroom ceiling fan needs a good cleaning as well, for dust. I didn't look at the other fans but they probably need the same. Same with wall above the air cleaner. Rug corners are turned up and need to be taped down or replaced. It's a tripping hazzard. Green algae on outside steps. Garden hose end broken so does not accept nozzle. You are charging good money for this rental. You need to keep it in top shape. ##### Daniel Q. From the start of the booking, the property management team have been very responsive and a pleasure to work with.The home was perfect for our family get away and there were no surprises as the listing adequately set expectations. Throughout my entire stay Charlie and Tommy were very accommodating, communicative and friendly. I walked into this home expecting just another beach house but was pleasantly surprised by the amount of detail that went into making this place feel exactly like a home away from home. The beds were so cozy, all the fabrics were soft, there’s firm pillows soft pillows, gentle lighting etc. Every area inside and out exudes comfort.
