The view of the lake is breathtaking and the serenity and peacefulness of the area makes it so easy to relax and enjoy yourself. The room was a step back in time and we would recommend Silt Coos Station to anyone for a beautiful getaway. Sep 2, 2024 #### Cozy/Novel cabin The owners have worked hard to decorate the insides of the cabins in 1920/30 decor, from furniture, appliances, and railway memorabilia. Very cozy, novel, and interesting experience. you can use their canoe or kayaks, and life vests without paying extra. We had no cell service, (you might check with your carrier prior to arrival,) although we were able to get online, and do “FaceTime”. They have propane fire pits for each cabin and common area, and in this day of not being allowed to have regular campfires, was a thoughtful addition. That being said, the property itself needs a lot of work, most importantly, the wooden railing and steps that go down to the common area are dangerous. The railing posts are rotted where they go into the ground, one step is loose and rotted, and weeds are overgrown on the steps.
