"Lisa is a fantastic hostess. She felt like having a family member taking care of you. Her place was one of the most well stocked (higher quality products) homes I have ever rented. "We absolutely loved our stay - the owners were so friendly and welcoming, the included breakfast delicious (even able to accommodate a gluten allergy with advance notice). The location was perfect within walking distance to a number of great restaurants, pubs and grocery store. We hiked two days in the area - can’t wait to come back!"

"As a kid, I summered just a few doors down from the Brookline Cottages, and am pleased to report the property offers a wondrous vibe decades in the making. The screen doors, the cribbage board coffee table, the woodwork -- everything said "chill here." Big ups to Liz, my responsive host. "Was overpriced Sheets were askew on the bed, shower was not draining properly, no light by the left side of bed, It was quiet and comfortable though. For the price, expected tea bags, not only coffee. We could NOT get the heat on and were quite cold all night at 50 degrees.,"

"The owners, Carol and Denis, were just fabulous! So courteous and accommodating. They welcomed us in like we were family and not guests. The location was clean and quiet and warm in a cozy way. I loved the 24/7 access to coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, the gorgeous antiques, and the hominess. Even the house itself invited you in! And the breakfast? Fantastic!! So fresh and delicious and huge! I was stuffed every morning! The only issue was the parking was a bear trying to get in and out of safely....
