« Très décevant comme séjour. L'insonorisation est POURRIE (style feuille de carton) et les deux nuits nous sommes en plus tombé sur des fêtards qui profitent du fait qu'il n'y a pas d'employé la nuit pour se promener partout dans le lobby et corridor en faisant claquer les portes. Le matelas serait dû pour être changé, on ressentait tous les ressorts.. Bref, le seul point positif est le magnifique paysage entourant le lodge et le très bon petit-déjeuner (par contre on doit payer, non inclus). »

« We had the best sleeps in these beds!!!! The breeze through the big windows was a relief. The room was perfect for myself and 2 boys, spacious and everything we needed!!! Breakfast was delicious, the Yorkshire tea brewed in a pot was perfect. Lorraine and Simon are lovely hosts, I would definitely recommend the guest house to my friends. »

« Maple Bank is a gem of a place. Super location literally 100 yards from a bus stop, which has an hourly bus right through to midnight, with a £2 fare cap! We chose to walk in to Keswick one morning which took about 50 minutes. Check-in was great and informative, outlining options for breakfast for vegetarian & vegan choices. « We had a wonderful stay. Our room was small but very comfortable with views of the hills. The tea and coffee choices are the best I've ever seen anywhere. Lorna is a lovely host and makes the best breakfast with plenty of choices. The location is approx. 15 minutes walk into Keswick and the Threkeld trail, just down the hill, make walking there better away from the traffic. We would definitely recommend Brookfield and hope to vist again. »

Petit déjeuné très correcte. Acceuil chaleureux avec pleins de conseils pour visiter la région ou pour trouver un restaurant. On peut comparer la chambre à une chambre d'un hotel 4*. Une des meilleures chambres d'hotes lors de notre voyage. Allez y les yeux fermés. »

« Updated, super clean and well done. It was a bit off the path for the Coast2Coast and the owner gave up explicit hiking directions including 2 pages of photos to get us back on it by hiking trails. »
