    The Space:

    Welcome to Alpine Star Lodge, your perfectly situated adventurer's retreat in the quiet Lazy Acres subdivision. Just 8 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park and the charming town of West Yellowstone, our lodge offers direct access to forest trails right from your door, ideal for year-round outdoor adventures.



    Experience the cozy, rustic Montana mountain cabin feel with all the comforts of modern living. The lodge boasts a distinct log cabin aesthetic, featuring extensive wood-paneled walls and ceilings, complemented by wildlife art, rustic furniture, and cozy textiles throughout. It provides ample space for larger groups with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms spread across two levels.



    Key Features & Amenities:

    - Kitchen: Exceptionally well-equipped for home cooking.

    - Dining Room: Large table comfortably seating up to 10 guests.

    - Living Room: Large brown leather sectional, flat-screen HD TV, internet service for streaming, Bose stereo system, selection of games and DVD movies, and a cozy fireplace.

    - Outdoor Spaces: Wrap-around covered porch with rocking chairs and a love seat swing, two outdoor picnic tables, BBQ grill, and a fire pit with log-plank bench seats for evening gatherings.



    Sleeping arrangements include:

    - Main Level: One bedroom with a queen bed, with access to the main level bathroom.

    - Upper Level: Four bedrooms, three with queen beds and one with a California King bed. Two additional bathrooms are located on this level (one with a tub, one with a shower), not attached to the bedrooms.



    Guest Access:

    Guests will have full private access to the entire Alpine Star Lodge. There is plenty of room in the driveway to park snowmobile or boat trailers, ensuring convenience for all your gear.

    - Group Bookings:

    For larger groups, we offer an additional similar-sized home, the Blue Spruce Cabin, on an adjacent lot.

    Renting both properties creates a cozy next-door situation, accommodating groups of up to 24 guests.

    - We respect guest privacy but are available to assist with any questions or needs that may arise during your stay.

    - If needed, we are only 15 minutes away.

    - Check-in/Check-out: Detailed check-in instructions, including key access, will be provided prior to your arrival.

What a perfect get away spot & gorgeous "home". We were 3 couples & it was a perfect situation! It's well stocked with all the pans ( coffee pot #1) bathroom has great soaps, shampoo- just like a hotel but it's a HOME! Would definitely stay here again should I travel to Yellowstone again!! Lovely hosts to work with! Responded immediately when I asked about a specific item!! Could not have been more pleased!

Runners in Yellowstone

It was the perfect cabin close enough the entrance of Yellowstone National Park and to the start of out 5k and half marathon races in West Yellowstone. The cabin was perfect in all aspects, coziness, cleanliness and size for 8 adults.

There was plenty of room for us all. The fire was nice on the chilly nights. We did have a few issues with the living room tv but eventually figured it out. Overall, my family would stay there again.

Great Stay!

Stayed for 4 nights while visiting Yellowstone. Location is close enough to be a quick trip to the gate but away from the downtown. Enough space for our family of 7 adults - big dining table, enough bedrooms, everything we needed. A fave was the fire pit outside and the beautiful night sky. Also close to the local rodeo if you are interested. Roam management were great - answer any questions very quickly and made the check-in and out easy. We would stay again!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay at the cabin with our 5 adults and 3 teens. The cabin's cell & wifi coverage is limited, but that was expected. We used the landline to make a reservation for ATVs in town because service was spotty - so the landline was nice to have! Clean place with a well appointed kitchen. We spent lots of time on the patios! Overall, would stay there again.

Perfect accommodations for us!

We had a great stay at Alpine Star. It was very clean, and there were plenty of dishes and cookware in the kitchen. We weren't there much, but if we'd had more time, we could have relaxed and really enjoyed the place. The only thing that would have made the stay even better is if there were exhaust fans in the bathrooms upstairs. There were 7 of us using those bathrooms. I know that the downstairs bathroom had one. But other than that, everything else was perfect!

Great spot in west yellowstone, clean and well maintained

We had a family trip to the area. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. Very clean and well looked after home. Loved all the little details everywhere in the decor. Spacious, well stocked kitchen. Huge table for playing the plethora of provided games. Comfy living room for watching the many provided movies. Strong, fast wifi. Location was great- right next to the rodeo! We went two nights in a row highly recommend. 10 min drive to west yellowstone town for many restaurants and the west yellowstone park entrance to explore yellowstone. Nice set up for smores in the fire pit. The cherry on top of the sundae was the collection of cowboy boots for guests to borrow! Thanks for having us!

Quiet and Lovely near Yellowstone National Park

Lazy Acres is a restful and well appointed home near Yellowstone National Park. Each room has attention to detail - and personality - and we loved the well-provisioned kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils, spices, and dry condiments. Super easy for a family that likes to cook! The home is very quiet and peaceful, with very little noise from nearby neighbors. We were surprised neighbors were close by, as the photos appeared to suggest the home was more remote, but it was not problematic nor noisy at all. The owner popped by as he was in town and wanted to know if anything needed attention and we couldn't think of a thing. Only drawback for our (sadly) working family on vacation was the cell service and internet were quite limited. The owners cannot provide better service - and it was rather lovely to be disconnected - but we hadn't counted on it and had to plan to make work calls on our drive to or from the park to get a connection. We would recommend the home wholeheartedly for a great place to assemble the family!

A bit of heaven among the Aspens

Firstly, Hostess Mindy went over and beyond helping us. I preferred a feather instead of a foam pillow for my injured neck and reached out to her. Within a hour I had 2! For my family of 7 gathering from all over the globe, reuniting in this spacious living room, dining room and kitchen was the best. Furnishings offered comfort and ease for all of us to sit together in the living room to watch one of the house CDs. A River Runs Through It. One cannot be in this area without reseeing this film in the evening. It is closely located near the West Yellowstone entrance as well as having a wonderful exploring trail into the wilderness at the end of the street. House has all basic kitchen ingredients to eat your brought food as well as clean up afterwards. Over and beyond, upon leaving, 2 days later, Mindy offered to go through the discarded trash in hopes of finding some accidentally discarded jewelry. No one I know would ever offer to do that. I only wish I was still there in that home now! Thank you Mindy!

We enjoyed our stay the cabin had everything we needed. It was pretty clean and had dishes and sheets and towels. The beds were also very comfortable and it was close to the west Yellowstone entrance.

Beautiful September Stay

We had great time in Alpine Star Lodge. Plenty of room. Plenty of comfort. We had all the conveniences in our cabin. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The quiet beauty and peaceful surroundings made our stay one to remember.

Great Property

Property is extremely well equipped with everything one might need. I stayed in many VRBOs but this one was far superior in all your needs. The kitchen had more "stuff" than any place I stayed in before. Very convenient to Yellowstone National Park. 15 minute drive to the main gate. 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms make it a great place for couples whose spouses may have snoring problem. Everyone can have their own room. The upstairs bathrooms have no exhaust fans but if you limit your "business" to the ground floor bathroom it should not be a major problem. Overall the place is great and if I return, I willdefinitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay to visit Yellowstone

We were a group of four couples that wanted a nice place to stay while we visited Yellowstone. The house is comfortable, and a good location near West Yellowstone and the national park entrance. It was a perfect size for our group. We didn’t spend too much time in the house, but the kitchen had everything we needed and there was enough space to prepare food and enjoy our meals and downtime together. We really enjoyed our stay!

I am an adult foster provider for developmentally disabled adult women and my friend that traveled with me is as well We brought our foster folks with us to Yellowstone. The cabin was close to West Yellowstone so very convenient for picking up supplies and shopping. Very close to West Entrance to Yellowstone. Very quiet area and enough beds for everyone. Home was well equipped with everything you would need. We definitely would come back.

Awesome property

The location was very convenient, the house was very clean and well equipped with linens, kitchen supplies and cookware. There were games :and videos for all ages. There was plenty of space! The only downside is the internet/cell service really didn’t work so don’t look to use it. We did love the place!

Perfect Yellowstone Family Reunion

We had the Alpine Star and the Blue Spruce. They share a backyard which was perfect for our family reunion. We visited the National Park a couple of days, Yellowstone Bear World near Rexburg, Hebgen Lake, and floated Henry's Fork of the Snake river ending at Mack's Inn. There's also a small rodeo just a hop, skip, and a jump from the cabin.

My two daughters and their families came from CA and MN, my husband other daughter and myself came from NC. Other than not seeing a bear we had a GREAT time! There was enough room for all of us and it was beautiful!

Nice house and location

We enjoyed our 4 nights at Alpine Lodge. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were cozy. The photos did make the spaces look larger than they actually are but we had enough room. The backyards had nice porches and grills. It was an easy drive to the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and yet out of town for a less busy atmosphere. We also rented the Blue Spruce for the rest of our family group and the kids could walk back and forth across the backyards. Great stay! Would stay again.

Pristine Paradise!

The property was very well maintained and clean. The spacious floorplan allowed plenty of room for our party of 9 to spread out and relax. The views of the mountains off the back were beautiful and it was nice to sit out back enjoying them while relaxing to the sound of nature. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great Yellowstone Area Rental

This rental was perfect for our group of 3 adults and 4 teens. Nothing fancy, but the home is nestled in a cluster of Aspens just 8 miles from the Yellowstone entrance. We so appreciated coming home to this peaceful spot every day after our excursions in Yellowstone. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were fine (high praise from me because I am super picky about beds!). The three bathrooms were a luxury that we all appreciated. We loved sitting in the swing out back and just relaxing after our long days in Yellowstone. This is an awesome alternative to camping: hot showers, comfy beds and a great kitchen to cook in!

Perfect for our needs

We were a family of 19 that shared two homes. We hosted all our children as well as all their children...our nine Grands as well as a son-in-laws parents. The bedroom situation fitted us perfectly. The two houses backed up to one another so it was easy to run back and forth. We were thankful for the laundry facilities and the multi bathrooms in each house. The houses are a few miles outside of town in a wooded setting. We wanted away from town to be able to spend our evening time together without the hustle and bustle outside our doors. We wanted down time for us to relax preparing for our next day. Kourtney was a gem, always available to answer questions and take care of our needs. Thanks!!

The location was great. The house was great for our group with enough large beds and large table ! I reached out via number provided when we arrived and never heard back to my two questions. In addition my sheets were certainly dirty. We ended up washing all the sheets and the concerning spots went away. Other than that, the place was great and would even rent again.
