The staff seemed like they were doing you a favor by answering a question. I went to the reception desk and asked for the WiFi information and the women at the counter told me it was out in with my key cards. I showed her the holder, and there was no information. I asked one of the staff what time breakfast was. Instead of telling me the time she said that it is posted. Also, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, they came in the second day and replaced the towels, emptied the trash, but didn’t make the bed. The room and bed looked wore out.

CLEAN BETTER
The staff was pleasant and I no complaints on that. But cleanliness could be way better. We stated at a horrible hotel the night before so i guess compared to that America was good. But the toilet wasnt clean well it was built dirt behind it, the rim inside the toliet at the top was black, our bathroom was missing 2 out of 4 light bulbs on the mirror, the space that holds the toilet tisdue had old trash in it, the cabiney containing the refrigerator had wood broken off and didnt close, the microwave was old still used timer and temp turn dial. I feel like they could do way better with cleaning and i woild be happy to return. But if not I'll stay at Hampton Inn across the way

The hotel was very worn! You can tell it has not been updated. The bed was hard and there was no hot water. There was roach in the shower.

Good for the buck!!!
Good for the price. At the beginning the room had a cigarette smell. microwave didn’t work. Limited channels on TV(couldn’t see the AFC Championship game). Front desk not to friendly. Space in room was good and bathroom was clean with hot water.

My stay was pleasant. I was put in a handicap accessible room. I didn't like that but I did not put them through moving me. I had several appointments and needed my rest so I didn't bother Miss Rose. I did tell her and she was willing to move me.

I saw the 7.2 and booked a room. Then I looked at the feedback and got a little worried. Yeah, the room was due for a makeover, but it was clean and the bed was a California King and was great. Staff was friendly and doing the best with what they have. Continental Breakfast was weak at 9:00am. Not sure if it was already cleaned out. Overall, the stay was satisfactory. The $200 a night hotel close by had about the same rating so I guess it's always a roll of the dice when you get a room anywhere.

Probably the dirtiest motel and the smell of marijuana was everywhere despite having to “initial in two places” on the sheet to say no smoking in rooms. Side doors to the outside from stairwells do not even latch to shut despite the sign saying “use room key to enter”. Anyone could come in at any hour. Property in general was extremely Run down with water damage, etc. Horrible air fresheners throughout to try to cover up the smells. Will not be back. (The lady that checked us in was very nice)

Was not told before about no elevator. Had to take stairs. Room had to be rekeyed after we climbed stairs with luggage. Had to go back up and down stairs with luggage. No toilet tissue in room had to call to get that brought to room. Desk clerk was very nice about that. Room very dirty. Surface clean, but floors and windows had not been wiped down in forever. Bath floor had not even been swept. Breakfast which was advertised was nothing but Banana, apple, yogurt. Will make sure we never stay at Americas Best again.

Water coming down from the ceiling in the bathroom at 7:30 AM was told by the front desk nothing I could do about it !!! Gave me a mop and towels to clean up the water !! On top of that the front desk person was so rude and combative, told my wife to go to the store for milk and sugar for the coffee!! Can’t make this up ! Don’t ever go here! Disgusting and filthy!

2 story building with no elevator. There were old food stains visible all over the place as if nothing had been wiped down in a while. Hallways and stairwell had dirt and trash all over the place. Again, it was obvious that the place was not being cleaned as well as it should. Staff park their cars I front of door so you can’t pull your car up to load/unload. People visibly smoking weed outside and inside the hotel. Tv didn’t work well, AC rattled so bad we had to turn it off. Bad repairs that were an eyesore. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet at night. Morning staff not visible when we left.

My first room smelled like an ash tray. Had to give me another. I’m 77 and my room was upstairs with no elevator and a long walk to the room with luggage. Breakfast was advertised. There was some small granola type bars and I think some orange juice and bananas. There is a difference between a snack and breakfast. One of the ladies was helpful and nice.
