"WOW! Just WOW! Where do we start? The home is perfectly situated on the slope overlooking the ocean, the Caribbean islands in the distance and the occasional ferries motoring by on their way to Road Town. It was immaculately clean and appointed with every little need you might have. The back patio and the hot tub were enjoyed daily and was the perfect place to start with a cup of Coffee and end the day with a cool libation. And then there were the hosts… Absolutely THE MOST hospitable hosts we have ever experienced the pleasure of meeting. Super helpful, always available and quickly responsive to communications via WhatsApp. Karen is so wonderful and generous with local knowledge, suggestions of places to visit, ferry schedules, and help finding a water taxi when we missed our ferry. She even met us at the ferry when we arrived and showed us the “way home.”We cannot wait to go back and want to stay longer next time. There is so much to explore, and this was the perfect location to be close to town, but enjoy absolute tranquility. "

"I arrived on Tortola with my three teenage children (husband couldn't come) just as Hurricane Erin looked like it was headed directly for the island. It was quite an adventure! Jonathan, the host, felt immediately like family and his primary concern was for our safety and floated the possibility that he would move us to a space that wasn't so high up in the mountains and exposed to the elements. We didn't end up having to do that, but it was nice to know that was an option in case it was needed. Jonathan was calm but also let us know that this could be treacherous. Jonathan & co came and boarded up all the windows and doors and we spent 2 days in the house like that. Sounds not so great, but my kids and I made the best of it cooking, watching movies coloring and playing cards. Once the storm passed and the clouds cleared we could finally see how special the house and the location were. All the reviews say the same thing, but the views are simply stunning and the infinite pool was exquisite. We spent hours in that pool. We enjoyed the local restaurants and just driving around the island in our Jeep was an adventure in itself. We took a day trip to Virgin Gorda and the Baths-should not be missed, and also chartered a boat to take us to the best snorkling spots in the area. Swimming with sea turles was a highlight. The local, private beach was our favoriWe have stayed in MANY beautiful VRBO homes, but we all agreed that Jonathan's house was at the top of that list. "

"Loved this Villa! Gorgeous views and great accommodations!! Sharlene from the Villas of Tortola team took great care of us! Check in was very simple and all their recommendation on the guidebook they provide were spot on! The guidebook/app was extremely helpful!! "Wonderful staff, concierge, and owners, who made us feel so at home, welcomed and cared for from the beginning until our departure! Photos cannot capture the spatial depth of beauty of Gestalt Villa! We hosted several meals for our extended family, 12 persons in all, and there was space for all at table and social spaces and pool made the a joy! Some of our family spent the week on a Moorings bareboat 4200, and being so close to Sopers Hole in the West End of Tortola made the shared experience of sailing and having a villa such a joy! Every request was responded to promptly. Wonderful in every way! "
