You found it! Our brand-new duplex is listed as an entire home. Each side is a 4 BR, 3 BA w/ king beds, a stocked kitchen, a 75” TV, and a fenced-in yard with patio seating. You're a quick drive to Williams-Brice Stadium, USC, Riverbanks Zoo, the State House, Congaree National Park & Sesquicentennial Park. You're a short walk to some of the best dining like Savage Craft Ale Works, Black Rooster, and Café Strudel. Our home is designed to comfortably sleep up to 16 guests (8 in each apartment) with plenty of bathrooms to go around. Lots of love and playfulness have gone into the design but we didn't forget the practical things like charging stations next to every bed, convenient hooks, and enough seating for everyone. Only you and your registered guests will have access to the space during your stay. Our home is located in West Columbia, SC in an area affectionately called “the Avenues.” West Columbia, or WeCo, is a vibrant neighborhood directly across the river from downtown Columbia. It is minutes from USC campus, Williams-Brice Stadium, and the South Carolina State House. WeCo has miles of beautiful riverside walking trails, delicious restaurants, the Riverbanks Zoo, and two awesome beer gardens! Columbia was founded in 1805 and is the State capital of South Carolina. In more recent years, it has seen a boom in its arts culture, including its own film festival that is ranked in the top 20 film festivals in the US. Over 14 million people visit Columbia every year. Oftentimes, you may hear Columbia being referred to as Soda City. This comes from the US postal code abbreviation for the city, Cola. From Cola came Soda City, a moniker which locals have embraced. Welcome to Soda City! Columbia is very much a driving town with tons of parking everywhere. If you don't have a car, there is Uber and Lyft which are easy to come by in our area. If you do have a car, free on-site parking is available at our house. This is an entire home in a quiet WeCo neighborhood so it is not suitable for parties or large gatherings. For liability reasons, we can only allow the number of guests confirmed in the reservation on the property at any time during your stay (maximum 16 guests). Quiet hours are between 10pm-8am. And, for everyone's safety, there are two security cameras on the outside of each apartment. There is also a noise monitoring device that will detect decibel levels only inside the home. Any tinkering or manipulation of these devices will cause your trip to be canceled immediately and without a refund. There are no cameras inside the home. The maximum occupancy that is shown in the listing includes any and all visitors that will be at the home. Over-occupancy or unauthorized events will result in IMMEDIATE eviction without refund. Any guest who refuses to vacate when instructed will be treated as a trespasser. No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy are allowed under any circumstances. Bookings made under false pretenses will be denied access with no refund. You must be 25 years of age or older in order to book one of our homes. While we ask a series of screening questions to all guests, local guests are subject to additional screening steps, including a phone call. We reserve the right to cancel any guest reservations at our discretion. Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints and multiple violations will result in immediate eviction without refund. No smoking or vaping inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio. No illegal substances or activities on the premises. Pets must be approved in advance. We charge a pet fee for up to 2 pets at all of our pet friendly locations. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged for cleaning + any additional damages. If the property is left in an unusually dirty condition that requires deep cleaning beyond our standard turnover, an additional fee will be charged to cover the extra housekeeping costs. Early check in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule. Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or Wi-Fi equipment. We traveled from NY, AZ, FL for neice/grandaughter wedding. My 90 yr old parents had the ground floor bedroom queen bed with walk in shower which was ideal for them since they don’t do steps without assistance. Upstairs was perfect 3 bedrooms 1 queen with a small bathroom and 2 bedrooms with king beds share a very large bathroom in hall which could use more counter space for sharing purposes. The bedrooms could use dressers with drawers. Downstairs was large area perfect size. Kitchen was great Only one Large tv in den None in bedrooms. The house seemed newly built and very clean. Wasn't sure if this was going to be a good fit, but it was perfect. The decorating was spot on and fun, plenty of room for everyone to spread out, was so great to have both sides of the duplex.We had a variety of family and friends coming together so it was nice to be able to put all those that go to sleep on the earlier side in one half, and those that liked to sleep in on the other. We even put the yard to use for an egg hunt. LOVED being able to walk to so many places that were close by. It provider the right amount of separated spaces and areas to gather, and it was very close to beautiful areas of the riverwalk and downtown. My only wish is that we would have had less rigid rules about having small amounts of people over. The house is very strict that no more people than 16 are allowed, which was problematic for our family, who had hoped to feed some of the groomsmen for the wedding by cooking at the house but ended up trying to find another place to gather and feed them which was a huge added expense. Plenty of space and beds/bathrooms for our extended family (ages 11-79) communication with management was great and they were quick to respond when we had questions.
