« We chose this location by proximity to the lake. It was clean and well appointed and did not disappoint (other than we didn’t catch any fish). Home was well stocked with necessity item including cookware which was important for us as we cooked our own meals. It also had dishwasher and detergent along with washer and dryer and laundry soap. It was a quiet peaceful location and I would definitely stay there again! »

« We absolutely loved our family three night stay at the farmhouse. The screened in porch was incredible especially with the rain and thunderstorm. The thoughtful touches through the entire house is so wonderful and really makes you feel at home. They really seemed to have thought of everything and were so lovely to check on us and were super easy to communicate with. The kids all asked to stay again next year and longer! We agree and can't wait! »

« Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving. »

« Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour au chalet Chisholms of Troy ! Nous disposions du chalet le plus éloigné de la route, très tranquille avec une vue fantastique sur l'eau et la côte en face. Le chalet était très propre et bien équipé, que ce soit la salle de bain ou la cuisine (ce qui tombe bien car il n'y a pas grande option de restauration dans le coin). Joliment refait, avec fauteuils et table à picnic devant le chalet. La propriété dispose de plus d'un accès direct à la piste cyclable...
