Wir hatten aber auch traumhaftes Wetter, so dass wir jeden Tag mit dem Fahrrad Touren gemacht haben. Von Wendtorf aus In Richtung Laboe und Kiel sowie entgegengesetzt Richtung Schönberg und Malente. Die Wege sind sehr gut ausgebaut. Die Unterkunft diente praktisch nur zum schlafen und frühstücken. Das Haus ist ruhig und unser Hund hat sich auch wohlgefühlt. In dem Strandbad fehlt unserer Meinung nach eine Bar oder ein schönes Bistro, was abends noch bis ca. 22 Uhr einen Cocktail oder sonstige Getränke bietet. Das 1-Raum Appartment scheint auf den ersten Blick sehr klein, mit der Kochecke, der kleinen Theke und dem eigenem Bad ist der Platz aber gut genutzt und sinnvoll eingerichtet. Der kleine Balkon lud auch im Spätsommer noch zum frühstücken ein. Die Krönung war die Aussicht auf der Dachterrasse. Auch wenn die Hochhäuser erst nicht sehr einladend wirkten, sind sie ihrem Ruf nicht nachgekommen. Der Aufzug hat einwandfrei funktioniert, es war sauber und nicht laut. 😉 Meine Eltern kommen gerne wieder und nehmen die Fahrt auf die andere Seite von Kiel zu uns gerne in Kauf. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieterin ist zuvorkommend und auch in schwierigen Corona- Zeiten konnten wir unseren Urlaub dadurch genießen. Man konnte sich jederzeit an sie wenden und fühlte sich dadurch gut aufgehoben. Obwohl in der Umgebung gerade viel gebaut wurde, ist die Gegend schön. Von der Wohnung sind der Hafen und die Strände in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Es gibt am Hafen frischen Fisch vom Boot und auch sonst muss niemand verhungern. Bäckereien und Einkaufsmarkt sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und Deike hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Die Wohnung liegt in einem 70er Jahre Plattenbau, der bei unserem Aufenthalt eine Modernisierung erfahren hat. Es wurden auch Wohnungen renoviert, was leider natürlich nicht geräuschlos von statten ging. Von der Flex oder dem Bohrhammer geweckt zu werden ist nicht jedem seins. Wohnung sehr sauber, Einrichtung neuwertig, gut ausgestattete Küche, Wohlfühl Faktor sehr hoch. Sehr guter Bäcker mit kleinem Laden, Meer, Fahrradverleih in 3 Gehminuten zu erreichen. Frischer Fisch direkt vom Kutter ebenfalls zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Nächster größere Ort ist Stein, dort kann man gut Essen gehen (Haus des Kurgastes). Ebenso ist Laboe einen Ausflug wert (gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten - Aldi, DM, Edeka, Rewe). Direkt am Hafen kann man dort sehr gut essen gehen, in der Fisch Küche Laboe.
