We found this hotel great for what we needed, we were at a wedding so it was for an overnight stay, the manager and staff were brilliant as nothing was too much trouble, we would definitely stay there again

A super beautifully presented Inn

Simply brilliant, 7 rooms you need sun glasses to look at, the colours are so vibrant-scarlet yellow lime green etc with way over the top coloured glass wall decorations and guilded furniture. But it works We loved it! The food was excellent, the wine, including an excellent South African Shiraz from Spier was well priced and the breakfast was simple and perfect We’re already planning another visit! Oh and the village of Berriew was delightful

Lovely hotel, great staff. Though was a bit worried about getting your amazing carpet in the sun bedroom dirty!! 5* evening meal aswell.

I stayed at this hotel in 1986. Has it changed. It’s a bit. Very friendly very good food and a good range of beers. The only gripe is the parking. The outdoor COVID tent has used up the limited space so it’s on street only which can be busy.

Loved the quirky decoration which makes it stand out of the crowd. The staff were amazing so polite, helpful and nothing was too much problem. The breakfast was of a very good quality, I would recommend the Lion Hotel & Restaurant as somewhere to stay.
