The accommodations are great - we took advantage of the living area just hanging out playing card games and munching on junk food. The internet is slow, but it was sufficient for what we needed. This place is exactly as described and pictures are acurate. First thing we noticed is the quiet atmosphere when we arrived. There are neighbors on both sides but one was vacant all week and the other was there but were quiet and respectful. There is also a privacy fence between the property so we didnt see them at all. The house is practically new. Updated and new appliances. Your basic needs are taken care of. Smart TV in living room with descent wifi. Front porch is covered and so nice to just sit and listen to the wildlife. We had a few bonfires at night, it was a great time. The owner (Dan) was polite, attentive and made sure that we knew he was just down the road if we needed anything. He came by a few times to take away the trash from the outdoor bin that was provided. The property is about 20 minutes east of Manistee, but Wellston is only 5 minutes away if you needed to pick up something from the store. Manistee has fantastic beaches and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. We really enjoyed our stay, it was nice to slow down and rest from the hustle of life. Would reccomend!
