"A wonderful welcome from the moment we entered until the minute we left. Every member of staff we encountered were friendly, and exceptionally helpful. We were given advice on how to get into Bath with all the road closures for the half marathon, the bus timetables were looked up for us and we were even walked out of the hotel to point us to the bus stop. "We arrived after late flight. I had informed hotel at time of booking but was asked to contact again on arrival day so room would not be sold on. There were roadworks on the junction for hotel meaning you had to drive to next junction and return. It would be nice to have been advised of this. The roadworks also meant the carpark was full and although on asking we were told we could park anywhere in services it is a one way road and leaving would mean another detour up the motorway. We parked in HGV bay as advised by receptionist - this information could easily be shared in advance. Since our last stay there has been introduction of £5 parking charge. This is a budget hotel and it is not too expensive. When i book double room I would expect sufficient towels. We had one bath towel, no hand towels. Arriving at 01.00 you can't be bothered to go back to reception to ask for basics. We have booked another budget hotel for our next late flight so we can judge if our expectations are too high or if Ramada is no longer for us."
