We had two goals - hit a stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and hike RRG. We stopped first at Barrel House Distillery in Lexington and took a bourbon tour, then headed to the Hygge House. Hiked an amazing trail in the Gorge the next day. Host has all the amenities and the fire pit was a great ending to a wonderful weekend away. ##### Anna H. The check in process for cabin was flawless and easy. The location was great! We enjoyed being away to ourselves and still having the convenience of a dollar store just down the road. Every detail was perfect - should be in a magazine! It sits on a quiet street surrounded by beautiful trees, backing up to Daniel Boone National Forest. It was super clean and equipped with everything we needed. The back porch and fire pit area were great spots to relax in nature. The host was fantastic and we cannot wait to come back.
