Very quiet area. 7-10 minutes to restaurants and grocery store. Cabin could use a cleaning and some upkeep. The entry door area had lots of lint and clutter. Not indicative of the inside but not a great first impression. The bathroom fan and upstairs box fan could use some cleaning. The bathroom shower head is really short as others mentioned. We went to the salmon river one day, mirror lake another, then trillium lake, Timberline lodge and lastly zig zag falls. The girls loved the hot tub and the cozy loft most. Other than the nosy (but kind) elderly woman neighbor who stopped by unannounced a few times and a visit from a bear, this is a lovely home and secluded for privacy. We were visited by a young adult male brown bear and it tore into three unsecured trash cans. House needs some more secure trash enclosure to keep them out. We loved this little cabin. The hot tub was such a bonus! The cabin was so cozy, especially with the fireplace. The neighbors are close, however we never heard them or saw them. The view is beautiful as well. It rained during our trip which made us want to curl up under a blanket and enjoy watching the rain fall through the large windows in the living room. After another 10 minutes he was done and the place looked great. We loved the fully stocked kitchen although it could use some nonstick pans. The hot tub and sauna were awesome. It was weird that the neighbor stopped by and was scoping out the place but thankfully it was just once, although we were constantly wondering if she was coming back. The Salmon River trail is only 5 minutes from the house and it was gorgeous. An easy hike with lots of areas to stop off and enjoy a snack if you wanted.
