Whether you spend a weekend or a whole month relaxing at this charming cabin, you wind up feeling younger, nourished, and rejuvenated. Situated on the banks of the Ivy River on 13 acres, the cabin is its own private nature sanctuary on a well-maintained dirt road that is home to 11 wonderful neighboring families. Rivertime is a beautiful cabin for renewal, personal retreat, quality family time, or romance. This 800-square-foot cabin has recently been updated both inside and out! The furnishings and decor are vibrant, inspiring positive vibes. Securely situated high on the banks of the Ivy River, the cabin is remarkably clean and filled with light. It is perfectly suited for a true mountain getaway. As you gaze into the flames of a cozy fire on a cool evening, you'll feel your worries dissipate and wonder why you didn't come here sooner. Wake up to fresh mountain air and enjoy the woodland wildlife from the comfort of the covered deck! The cabin's exterior and landscaping, including stone pathways and accent lighting, have been enhanced for your enjoyment. A short footpath leads to the Ivy River., After a busy day, grill out on the deck and enjoy beautiful wooded views of the river from the hot tub. An additional bonus to this cozy cabin is high-speed internet, a generator, and pristine well water. 5 minutes from I-26 in Weaverville. This location makes a great base camp from which to access Asheville 20 minutes away or the smaller rural towns in WNC. • One-Story Cabin w/Loft • Main Level: Full Futon in Living Area; Full Bath • Loft Area: 1 Queen Bed Important Property Notes • 4WD/AWD Recommended. During winter months or inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is recommended. We recommend one with sufficient clearance (i.e SUV, Truck, or raised Sedan). • Long, Narrow Gravel Driveway and Directions: The seclusion at Rivertime is possible because it is situated at the end of a long, narrow gravel driveway that is only wide enough for a single vehicle. We recommend only bringing one vehicle to Rivertime, and to be prepared to turn the vehicle around in a tight space at the bottom. Note that GPS is incorrect for this address, and will take you to the wrong location. The driveway is steep and curvy but brings you to the cabin overlooking a stream. My partner and I loved walking the trails on the property and exploring the area. We ended up not bringing our dog after a closer look at the stairs up to the bedroom. They are extremely steep my husband and I could barely get up them to go to bed. Which I’m glad I didn’t bring my dog because dogs are not even allowed upstairs. The seating downstairs is is very uncomfortable and needs to be updated. There are always ants in the bathroom and got into all her toiletries they stay in the sink in the bathroom and on the toilet seat.Wood was provided which was very nice for the wood-burning stove. ##### Jill H.
