Featuring a hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, comfy porch and dog friendly policy, this place is perfect for friends and families traveling together. From the gorgeous chef's kitchen to the well stocked game supply, this gathering place has been thoughtfully curated to be a fun and cozy vacation destination. The Space: Each bedroom features a queen size bed, TV, and bath with shower/tub combo. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house with the living area in the center, providing plenty of privacy. There is a Pack n' Play and kid's toys on site, along with family board games and Spectrum cable. Water and food bowls are provided for your furry friend! The front porch is a fantastic sitting spot for alfresco dining, morning coffee or an evening cocktail! The 4 person fire pit and hot tub are protected by privacy fences, so you can relax under the stars. Enjoy a night in grilling on the back porch and dining by the twinkle lights. Keruig coffee is provided. Please feel free to ask us any questions about the place, we are always available throughout your stay and would love to host you at Steps Away Cottage! Guest Access: You have the entire place and yard to yourself The Neighborhood: Downtown Wayensville is a 5 minute walk from the house. Some of our favorite destinations are: the Wall Street Book Exchange, Smokey Mountain Sandwich Shop, Sassafras Toy Store, The Sweet Onion, Wildflour Blue Bakery, Orchard Coffee, and the Blue Ridge Beer Hub. If you feel like takeout, Uber eats and DoorDash are available. There is also a chick-fil-a a few minutes down the road as well as lots of grocery store options. We recommend our local Ingles. Getting Around: Easy walk to downtown Waynesville. 37 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Other Things to Note: \-Ring security camera is located at front door \-Hot tub is sanitized before and after each stay, please read hot tub instructions in the house manual \-Fence is a privacy fence and is not enclosed \-For your convenience feel free to use any firewood onsite. If you use wood onsite please replace what you used for the next guest. So much attention was put into decorating and supplying all the things needed for a wonderful stay. First place we've stayed that included laundry soap, enough paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, trash bags, and toiletries for the entire stay! We loved the local products used throughout the property so much that we sought out and purchased some to bring home! We came to Waynesville for our sons wedding in Asheville and were thrilled that the drive to and from was so quick and easy. Our son and his wife both work on Main Street so we throughly enjoyed being able to walk to see them both during work hours! We didn't find time to use the firepit but enjoyed the hot tub many times after visiting downtown for eating and shopping. Waynesville has become one of our favorite destinations and this VRBO is certainly the best we've rented here! We will definitely look into staying here for all future visits.
