This home was perfect for our family of 4, and we would definitely come back and stay here again. The sauna and hot tub were wonderful to come home to after spending the day exploring the area. The location is stunning, but believe them when they say to plan your first arrival before dark. The dirt road is winding and a bit bumpy, and the driveway is daunting the first time. The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving stay. It was nice to have a wood fire on the main floor, and also charming to have the basement gas fire while we played pool and hung out. Everyone had their own space and the views were fantastic off the porch at every time of day whether we were drinking coffee or relaxing in the hot tub after hiking in the Pisgah. It was far enough away from town to feel secluded and there are lots of towns to visit with hiking, swimming, museums, breweries, etc. The property managers were very responsive to our needs when I had questions. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots and pans, etc so you don’t have to eat our every night. The downstairs area with the pool table was great at night so we could hand as a family buy the bigger kids could stay awake and watch tv, listen to music and shoot pool while the little ones went to bed.
