You enter the home from the double driveway and carport where there are two outdoor showers and a fabulous private swimming pool. The main bedroom level has four large bedrooms and three full bathrooms. There is a double bunk room, one with two singles and two queen suites with sliding doors to the oceanside deck. Walk up the steps to a huge great room with home theater system with 52" LCD/HDTV with DVD player and surround sound, vaulted ceilings, skylights and unlimited views of the ocean. A large kitchen and dining room make this the perfect place for family and friends to stretch out. From the great room you can step outside to the furnished upper deck, relax in the hot tub, or check out the action in the pool down below. Set above the great room are two magnificent king suites, each with TV/DVDs and their own full bath and private balcony! There's is no place like SUNTANA for your family vacation. New for 2026: Exciting updates include new flooring, fresh paint, updated furnishings, new bedding and mattresses, upgraded lighting and ceiling fans, refreshed décor, new door hardware, and new window treatments throughout. Bathrooms have been remodeled with new vanities, mirrors, and fixtures, with three bathrooms featuring new tiled showers with glass doors. We had 7 adults and 2 kids. The beach was beautiful and very close by. The walk to the beach is not easy. Carrying a lot is very difficult. The pool and hot tub were also nice. The side door to the hot tub and the sliding glass doors in the great room has mold around them from weather erosion inside the home. It rained rather hard one day we were there and water leaked through the sliding glass doors inside the home. I just placed a towel in front of the door. The location and home itself is absolutely beautiful! I did contact the office our firsr full day there to let them know the outside lights by the hot tub was not working. I had to contact them again our 3rd day after we found our neighbors swimming in our pool! The property manager at Surf or Sound very quickly contacted the management to our neighbors home after the neighbors initially refused to get out, saying they were told it was a shared pool (it is not shared). Vacasa manages that home and yes, they actually do have their listing of the home as having a shared pool when in fact, there is not. Our manager even made a stop at our home to ensure it was taken care of within just a few hours. Overall we had a wonderful experience. One we will never forget! ##### Sara K. We enjoyed our stay. The management quickly solved the few issues that arose. Some small housekeeping details were a bit lacking, but overall it was a very nice home to rent. The pool was lovely but to cold to swim. The hot tub was great. The house needs some updates and a deep cleaning but was just an unbelievable location. There are dvd movies, games, books and puzzles available. Dolphins swam in front of the house early mornings. You can walk to delicious food at Watermans! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and we had plenty of room to spread out. It hadn’t been cleaned since the previous occupants were there. There were toe nail clippings by the bed. Feces left in the toilets and there was even a plastic ziplock bag by the stairs full of feces and napkins. The floors were covered in dead bugs and dirt. I have pictures. It took us over 2.5 hours to clean and make it livable. I attempted to call the reality company and it’s been a week and a 2 days and still no calls or answers. The pool was nice. The beach was nice. The beds were ok. But worst of all the cleaning/reality company put my whole family at risk of contacting Covid 19 due to not cleaning. ##### Tim T. The property does lack exterior maintenance and could use a really good powerwashing. The wildlife nearby was an awesome surprise. The proximity to the beach was perfect and the pool was nice. The beach access is shared by neighboring properties so it's good to be aware others are walking in "your" backyard. All in all, well worth the cost to stay for the week. ##### Fritz and Jessica H. I know it was the end of the season , but kitchen could have been cleaner. The rest of the house was neat and clean. Beach was beautiful and relaxing. Didn’t know paths to the beach from rest of neighborhood where on each side of home. We did spend two good days there. Nice experience, it was our first time to the outer banks. ##### Sandy M.
