Central Wisconsin is a wonderful destination for vacationers, adventurers, sight-seers, outdoor enthusiasts, and families. By planning your stay in in Rothschild, you can access nearly every part of the state within a two or three hour drive!  
  
Close proximity to Rib Mountain State Park, Nine Mile County Park, Big Eau Pleine County Park, and Marathon County Park, just to name a few. Also close to ski hill, shopping, hiking, biking and Mountain Bay Trail. Wisconsin River visible from the home. The large cedar deck is a perfect location to sip your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine! At the end of a long day, retreat to either of the inviting bedrooms for a peaceful and restful night’s sleep.

\- Granite Peak is located just 8 minutes away and boasts amazing hiking trails, autumn tours and ski slopes.  
  
\- Nine Mile Recreation Area is a series of miles and miles of mountain biking and hiking trails as well as cross country skiing in the winter months, located just 15 minutes from the property.  
  
\- Ice Age National Scenic Trail runs just 15 minutes from our property.  
  
\- Local Badge State Games, including summer and winter activities such as Archery, Alpine Skiing, Billiards, Youth Snowmobiling, Wausau CrossFit Winter, WODfest, Trap Shooting, Nordic Skiing, Snowshoeing, Fat Tire Bike Racing, Youth Hockey (Bantam 1A & 1B), Adult Hockey, Curling, Youth Hockey (Squirt 1A-1B), Archery NASP, Bowling, and Ski Jumping, are held minutes from our Rothschild location.  
  
\- Big Eau Pleine Flowage, located just 20 miles SW of Rothschild, offers 2 campgrounds, beginner to intermediate cross-county ski trails, 9 miles of hiking/biking/horseback riding trails, 3 boat landings and a 9-hole disc golf course adjacent to the main campground.  
  
Shopping and dining options are also located within close proximity of our property and are sure to provide plenty of satisfaction, no matter your food palate or style.
