Rock River Haven - charming, spacious, peaceful

Enjoy the lower level of our charming home nestled on the banks of the Rock River. Spectacular natural light with gorgeous views. Located in a quiet cul de sac, this space offers serene views of the water through two triple patio doors of the spacious living area. The gas fireplace adds to the coziness. Come and go as you please with a separate, private, locked entrance.
The kitchenette, daybed and entertainment options (ping pong, air hockey, darts, bag toss, board games) compliment the relaxing, cozy space. A hot tub is available for use with prior approval.

We are located 50 minutes from downtown Milwaukee and 40 minutes from Madison and within 20 minutes to Lake Country. We are 5 minutes from Luther Preparatory School, 15 minutes from Johnson Creek Premium Outlet Shops, 20 minutes from Jefferson County Fairgrounds and 12 minutes from Maranatha Baptist University.

Gem on the River
We really loved the location on the east side of Watertown. A beautiful setting right on the river. Wonderful mature trees. Nicely landscaped with all kinds of flowers. The huge patio is great for relaxing on the nice patio furniture. The accommodations are great. Very comfortable bed. MJ and Andy were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back many times in the future.

Quiet, relaxing, great view
The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful and right on the river. We enjoyed the quiet relaxation of being right on the river and evenings in the hot tub. There was also plenty of activities to do such as kayaking, ping pong and darts. Very close to downtown Watertown as well.

Perfect little setting on the river

Great Host and Property
Host was friendly, property was immaculate, and stay was pleasurable. Everything you need for a great vacation. Only thing to consider is that the fridge is a mini-fridge and dock wasn’t installed (though this is likely a seasonal thing and may not be applicable to you), but still was able to cook and fish successfully. Highly recommended!

Pure Awesomeness!
We come to Watertown WI every year and usually stay in a hotel. This year we decided to check VRBO for a rental and the house on Rockview Ct came up as available. We had a wonderful time sitting on the deck with family & friends. We used the hot tub and MJ was gracious enough to allow my husband & his best friend to use the canoe on the river. Pretty view of the river. Peaceful location. Many activities available. Very clean. Comfortable bed and furniture. Two things I would have liked to know before renting: this rental is the basement of the owner’s home and the a/c is controlled by them. They adjusted the air at my request.

What a great place!
The property is wonderful. We came for graduation, and it was so close to the school and places in town. It was so much cozier than a hotel. It is roomier than the pictures show. The best part was the view. Whether you are outside or looking out the windows, it is so relaxing to enjoy the river and the yard. We’ve never met a host before in our stays, and it made our stay more enjoyable to meet such friendly and kind hosts.

Excellent in all respects
MJ and Andy are one of the most friendly hosts we've met. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable and well-cared for during our stay. They helped us with everything from setting up the air hockey table to launching the kayaks -- all done with warmth and a genuine desire to make our stay memorable rather than done as a chore. We enjoyed getting to know them and will gladly stay again. The property itself was very clean and well-organized. The switches were clearly labeled and instructions provided for appliances where appropriate. There are lots and lots of indoor games and books to keep oneself away from the electronics. Alternately one can sit outside and just watch the river go by while enjoying the outdoors. All said - our family had a very good experience staying here and we look forward to seeing MJ and Andy again on our next quick getaway from the city!

Great Place to Stay
My visit here was a great experience. This being the first time I have ever stayed at a property shared with the owners i was a little hesitant at first. Upon arrival the owners greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Hospitality was unmatched, the stay was so enjoyable, and their animals are so adorable. 10/10 Recommend.
