We travelled as two families of 4\. The house acommodated us very well and the views of Papoose Pond were incredible. The owners were super helpful, by sending a bunch of information ahead of time as well as checking in mid-stay to see how we were doing. The location was beautiful the structure itself was great but it isn't really well kept. The fridge, counters and couch were dingy, the microwave handle was held together by tape, the shower had hair in it upon arrival, they were SO MANY flies upon arrival, Some windows were missing screens, there were excessive cobwebs, and only two mattresses were decent. The location is lovely, quite secluded in the woods, and right next to a pond. We were there in February and skied at Mt. Abrams and Sunday River, which are both nearby. In the evenings we enjoyed relaxing by the big fireplace in the living room, and cooking in the fully-stocked kitchen. The owner was very kind and provided lots of information and suggestions of things to do in the area. No complaints at all. Property manager gave us a call shortly after we arrived and made sure we were satisfied with the property. Lake is nice and quiet with plenty of sights to see as you swim, canoe and kayak. The house was clean and had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner both days. The three bedrooms plus the loft beds were comfortable and views of the pond out back were great. ##### David A.
