« What a fabulous place in an amazing location, just a few moments walk from the best cafes and bakeries / many temples / night market etc, yet it’s somehow so peaceful at Pha Nya. « Propreté qui laisse à désirer. Nous avons dû leurs dire de revenir faire le ménage. Puis finalement nous avons demandé de changer de chambre car trop bruyante, lavabo bouché, cheveux qui trainent dans la baignoire et miroire pas nettoyé. Le lit et coussins sont dur. La climatisation bruyante. »

"J’avais comme souvenir que les laotiens étaient un peuple souriant et accueillant ! Le Satri House est sublime comme hôtel, un lieu hors du temps qui reflète l’Indochine dans toute sa beauté; dommage que son personnel manque de convivialité, est si peu souriant et je dirais presque peu avenant. Arrivant du Cambodge, j’avoue avoir été choquée par la différence entre l’hospitalité kmère et l’hospitalité lao . Dans les hôtels au Cambodge, l’hospitalité est un pur délice . J’attendais à retrouver la même ambiance ici au Satri House, je suis quelque peu déçue. Les traditions sont-elles en train de se perdre au Laos …? "

"Très belle hôtel sur le bord du Mékong. Le restaurant en terrasse sur le Mékong où on prend aussi le petit déjeuné est magnifique. Tout le personnel est au petit soin et très très sympa. L’hôtel est bien placé dans la vieille ville, on peut tout faire à pied. Vraiment je recommande."
