This cozy apartment is situated in an ideal location! It’s conveniently close to the metro station and just a short walk away from restaurants and the zoo. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city of Washington, D.C.

Felt like a safe area, and the alley parking space (extra ) was a great addition. My kids were a little unsure of the apartment, which I would have referred to as “character” in my 20’s. But we had a great rest, enjoyed the quiet street and building, and would book again.

Communication with April was great, and she was responsive and helpful with a couple of small issues. The location is in a great little neighborhood, and the walk to the Metro station was about twelve minutes. The building is older, and so squeaky floors and steep stairs are a part of its charm. The place was clean and had all the basics needed for a great four-day stay!

Just what we needed for an overnight in DC. The parking spot was convenient. We loved having access to the keurig coffee maker and coffee pods , which helped us get our caffeine fix before leaving in the morning . Great location in Adam’s Morgan. The stairs up to the apartment might be hard for the elderly, those that are mobility impaired , or people with heavy luggage.

The details, such as the cute toilet paper wrappings and the well stocked kitchen, make the stay so much more pleasant. The location can’t be beat. These apartments have become our home in Washington DC when we visit, which is once or twice each year.

The apartment is very cute. Furnishings are bare-bones but perfectly adequate. I wouldn't call it dirty by any stretch, but the common areas (lobby, stairs) could use a good detailing (vacuum, dust, etc). Not a deal breaker by any means. Location more than makes up for any slight complaints!!! Very convenient on foot for food, drink, necessities. Very convenient to public transit for everything else. Beautiful shady street. I will book this again!

The place was clean and the directions for check in easy. April was very responsive with our questions. The one important issue was that there was no smoke alarm in the bedroom and the one outside the bedroom had been removed. That is a big safety issue considering there was only one way out (stairwell) and no fire escape from the 4th story we were on.
