High ceilings and abundant natural light from windows and skylights complement the warm oak floors and high-end finishes. Sophisticated furnishings and décor, including a fantastic art collection, will appeal to discerning renters. The private terrace with retractable awning and glowing lights affords outdoor space for relaxing, dining and entertaining with a sweeping view over Georgetown and the dramatic Rosslyn skyline. The home features an open living and dining area with French doors to the private roof deck, a large L shaped sofa, expanding dining table that seats 10, several attractive armchairs, and a large wall mounted TV. The master suite has a king bed, sky lights, connected full bath with tub and dual sinks, work area cleverly hidden behind louvered doors, and large walk-in closet. The chef’s kitchen is bright compact and fully appointed with gas range, high-end stainless appliances, dual ovens, and all the kitchen gadgets, and serving and cooking implements needed for entertainment. A powder room for guests, washer dryer, and storage room with wine fridge are off the hallway. At the far end of the hall is a second bedroom with a twin trundle bed that can also be two twin beds or converted to a king bed. This room also features an ensuite full bath, a sitting area, and a work area with desk and office chair. A reserved secure parking space comes with the PH. The property is gated, and the building entrance is secured by entry code. The Penthouse, 1 of only 2, is accessed by elevator or wide marble stairs. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great penthouse with everything you need. We stayed for four months and loved it. It has a coveted parking space (rare for the area), and is walking distance from bars, restaurants, and parks.
