The six of us fit well and there was plenty of sleeping space. Only downside is a tight kitchen but we made it work. The house was well stocked which was fabulous and the grocery store was only .5 miles away. We walked to all the museums (about 1.2-1.5 miles) and found easy street park on in g by the national Mall. So many little conveniences were thought of, too! Communication was quick and easy. We visited during spring break and the park across the street was full of cherry blossoms. Loved walking to the Mall, and loved the off-street parking for those times we ventured farther away and needed to use our car. It was 5 of us, two adults and kids aged 8, 10, and 17\. My son ended up using the provided air mattress instead of the fold out sofa bed so that he could sleep in the bedroom, but he found that comfortable as well. The only tiny thing to note was that the water heater seemed pretty small. We spaced out our showers to avoid cold water. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful stay. We highly recommend this adorable home! It’s located in a safe, family oriented neighborhood and within walking distance to union station, the capitol, museums and lots of restaurants. It is supplied with all the necessities and the owners are quick to respond to any questions or needs. Off road parking was also a huge plus.
