Some of DC's most popular spots are just a quick walk up Georgia Avenue, including: Doubles coffee shop, Sonny's Pizza, No Kisses (bar), Midland Beer Garden and St. Vincent Wine Bar. Doubles is a very popular coffee shop, just around the corner. They have incredible breakfast sandwiches as well as a small but tasty lunch menu. They share a back patio with Sonny's Pizza which is an easy spot to let kids run around while you get 15 minutes of peace with you coffee! And an easy place to grab beer/wine and pizza in the evenings. 11th Street is also walkable (about a half mile) and features some Michelin rated restaurants, like Makan and Queen's English, and other popular restaurants like El Chucho, Redrocks Pizza and The Coupe (American/diner, great for breakfast or lunch).
