There is a neighboring property fairly close, but once you are inside the chalet, it is positioned to give the occupents complete privacy. It felt secluded and surrounded by nature. The interior is very aesthetically pleasing. Modern, light filled, warm and classic. It looks like the perfect setting for an Instagram post! We easily found everything we needed for food prep. The hot tub and porch were perfect for relaxing, and the outdoor pavilion with seating and corn hole was also a nice touch. We had a restful and refreshing time in beautiful surroundings. Gorgeous hiking (that wasn't too strenuous) was available nearby. We particularly enjoyed the walk to the Nemo Tunnel that the property is named after. 100% recommend a stay at the Nemo Tunnel Chalet! ##### Thistledown Farm R. Everything felt fresh and brand new in chalet. Great touches with appliances. Awesome brewery in town was a nice change of pace from hiking and exploring. You feel secluded, but you are on a lot with three other rentals and a house. Half of the hot tub is in clear view of the house, but for the most part it was private. We appreciated the washer and dryer as we went on a muddy hike and did not want to pack away mucky clothing. The town of Wartburg is quaint and beautiful. The drive to the chalet was utterly breathtaking. The road takes you on a winding scenic tour through, what was at the time, a colorful collage of changing trees. We even saw a family of deer on the lot. How amazing it was!From the back deck of the chalet we saw so much beauty. The mist dancing to a symphony of its own, through the trees. Just incredible. (Pictures do not do it justice.)
