The Włochy district belongs to the left-bank Warsaw. The district covers an area of 28.63 square kilometers and has over 39,000 residents. It is currently gaining increasing popularity among new residents of the capital. For several years now, it has become a place for new residential investments, although not only that. Many renowned companies and corporations have their headquarters in the Włochy area, appreciating its relatively good access to the center of Warsaw and the proximity to the F. Chopin Airport.   
Two major outbound routes from Warsaw run through the district\`s area. The first of these is Aleje Jerozolimskie leading westward, while the second is the Krakowska Avenue leading - as the name suggests - towards Kraków and southern Poland.   
Public transportation is very well developed. Since 1923, Okęcie has been connected to Warsaw by a tram line. Currently, residents also use the services of SKM (Fast Urban Railway) and the popular WKD (Warsaw Commuter Railway).   
One of the district\`s strengths is its unique landscape and scattered greenery present in many places. Here, you can find extensive parks, to mention only the Cietrzewia ponds with beautiful old-growth trees or the Kombatantów Park with Koziorożec ponds, as well as tree-lined avenues, registered as natural monuments: chestnuts and lindens.
