Pets welcome. Local restaurant & convenient store 1 min. away. Close to many tourist destinations- Hanging Rock, Winston Salem, Pilot Mt. Belews Creek power station. This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Our place has of the feel of "getting away", but being in close proximity to town/city life. We are located on Town Fork Creek and it is a beautiful place to just hang out & get your feet wet, or nature watch. Queen bed, kitchenette with sink and essentials, sofa, smart TV, full bath, covered porch. Relax by the creek or enjoy nature walks. Watch the occasional deer & other wildlife. I wanted to relax and read, undisturbed, and this place was better than I had hoped. The unit was clean very comfortable. It’s not a cabin (it’s not rustic at all) it’s a “tiny house” of clean contemporary decor and the amenities…just shrunk. The house is right next to the owner’s house, which was a little concerning when I first pulled up, but I never heard any one and only saw the owners on a couple occasions. The property is quite large, approximately 300 yds to the stream in the back which is where I spent every day. There was a hammock and camp chairs, a large tin roof covered area (with a bench swing) where i ducked under when some rain squalls moved through the area on a couple days. The sound of the stream and the birds was all I could hear with the pleasant exception of a few minutes of heavy rain in a metal roof. It was exactly what I wanted and I will certainly stay there again if I back in the area. ##### eric h. It is a few miles from Winston Salem and close to several area attractions. Also close to several restaurants in Walnut Cove. Try the Olympic Restaurant, you won't be disappointed. We wanted to go to Old Salem and Mt. Airy and this was a perfect place in between. The space was warm and inviting. There were snacks and fresh eggs to cook, if desired. We loved walking down to the creek and enjoying the beautiful grounds. The owners are super nice!! ##### Vicky W.
