Large windows provide for magnificent ocean views in both directions. We have been vacationing on the Oregon coast for nearly 40 years and this is hands down the most well-stocked kitchen. Also note; one of the beds sits very high. Pet stains on the master bedroom carpet. This IS a dog friendly house but usually those stains are treated. The bed sheets were pilly and rough. Most importantly, the chain link fence on the north side is deteriorating and there are holes that are big enough for least a medium sized dog to get through. We almost lost our pup. Our group of 6 was quite comfortable with plenty of space inside to hang out and play games as well as to find privacy in the three sleeping areas if needed. You can see and hear the ocean from the living room. We had dogs with us and loved that there was a grassy fenced yard so we could let them out to potty without having to put them on leash. There was a provided scoop and bucket to pick up after them. There is also an "airlock" for the front door. You have to go through a gate in a privacy fence before reaching the front door. This makes it more difficult for a dog to escape. The beach access requires taking a very short trail over a small mound to get to the beach. Iif you have mobility issues, you might find it difficult. However, my 75 year old mom with some mobility issues was able to do it with assistance. The beach on the other side is fantastic! The big king beds were comfortable and not too firm. This really was a great place to stay. There was plenty of room for the whole family and the kitchen had all the tools you needed. I would recommend they go through the shared pantry every once in a while. I went through it and threw away items that expired 7 years ago. I will say the faucets can be confusing at times, when you think you're turning it to hot the water just turns off. Once you figure out the trick it's not too bad. While the property could use some updating, we really enjoyed our stay there. The most frustrating part of this stay was when I tried to shorten my stay by a couple days due to a scheduling conflict with my son's school. I had to go back and forth with the management company because they were not answering my questions about adjusting the number of days we we're staying. Eventually they just refused to allow us to shorten our stay. So we ended up paying for two days we weren't even there. We attempted to shorten more than a month out from our stay. ##### Jenny H.
