As this is a corner chalet, you are completely free on 1 side. The lodge is divided into 2 floors and has a cosy living room with open kitchen on the first floor. From here you have a beautiful view. The balcony, which is also accessible via the outside stairs, is the ideal place for a relaxing morning with a cup of coffee. After an active day, you can relax in your own sauna. What luxury! The lodge is located on the edge of the beautiful village of Wald-Köningsleiten, in a quiet location right by the cross-country ski trail and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The centre within walking distance houses several restaurants and shops. Every morning you can get fresh rolls from the local bakery here. Wald-Königsleiten is located between 3 famous ski areas: the Zillertal Arena, Wildkogel Arena and the Kitzbühel ski area. The Zillertal Arena and Kitzbühel ski areas are ideal for holidaymakers who want to cover many kilometres on the slopes. The Wildkogel Arena ski area, on the other hand, is ideal for families with children. Bramberg is home to Europe's longest winter toboggan run. There is also plenty to do in the region in summer. Its location right next to the national park makes it ideal for hiking and mountain biking through the typical Austrian nature. If you are a real water rat, take a dip in the public Kristall pool. Insgesamt ist die Lodge in Ordnung, aber bei 10 Personen frage ich mich immer noch, wo sie ihre Kleidung lassen sollen. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist die Treppe ein Risiko. Außerdem war der Fernseher im Wohnzimmer bei der Ankunft (Dienstag) kaputt, wir kontaktierten die örtliche Kontaktperson, er kam dann am nächsten Tag zur Überprüfung, dann kam auch der Techniker, um erneut zu überprüfen, dass der Fernseher kaputt war. Der Techniker hatte ein neues Gerät auf Lager, musste aber auf die Bestätigung des Eigentümers warten. Der örtliche Ansprechpartner reagierte nicht auf eine SMS, in der er nach dem Stand der Dinge fragte. Es dauerte dann bis zur folgenden Woche (Mittwoch), bis wir einen Fernseher hatten. Wir fuhren am Samstag wieder nach Hause, immer noch 3 Tage ohne Fernseher.
