Large windows offer beautiful views of the West Maui Volcano and the warm Hawaiian breeze. With amenities such as A/C, Wi-Fi, smart TV, and free parking, it\`s centrally located where the west and east sides of Maui meet, providing easy access to stunning beaches and the airport within a 10-15 minute drive. Our space is designed to comfortably host 4 guests with the two queen beds, but we can accommodate extra guests with an Air Mattress upon request. Simply notify us in advance, and we will ensure it is prepared for your arrival.\*\*Please note: The unit is located on the second floor, and the property does not have elevators\*\* Amenities A/C, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Assigned free parking. Central location! Located in the heart of the island where west & east Maui meet. 10 to 15 minute drive to stunning beaches & airport. Jerra our onsite manager is available from 8 am to 4 pm Wailuku is a neighborhood located on the island of Maui in Hawaii. Wailuku is a historic town with many buildings dating back to the 19th century. It has a diverse mix of residential and commercial areas, with a range of housing options from historic homes to newer developments. The town is home to several parks and recreational areas, including the popular Iao Valley State Park, which features a scenic hike to the Iao Needle, a natural rock formation. The Wailuku River State Park also offers hiking trails and swimming holes. Wailuku has a vibrant downtown area with shops, restaurants, and art galleries. The Maui Arts and Cultural Center is located nearby, offering a range of cultural events and performances. Overall, Wailuku is a charming and historic neighborhood with plenty to offer both residents and visitors. Getting around Wailuku, Maui is relatively easy, with several transportation options available: Car rental: Renting a car is a popular option for visitors to Maui. There are several car rental companies located at the airport and in downtown Wailuku. Having a car gives you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. Public transportation: Maui\`s public transportation system, known as the Maui Bus, operates several routes throughout the island, including Wailuku. Fares are affordable, and the buses are air-conditioned and equipped with bike racks. Taxis and ride-sharing services: Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are also available on Maui. However, these options may be more expensive than renting a car or taking the bus. Biking: Biking is a great way to explore Wailuku and the surrounding areas. There are several bike rental shops in Wailuku, and many roads have bike lanes. Walking: Wailuku is a walkable town, with many shops, restaurants, and attractions located within easy walking distance of each other. Walking is a great way to get some exercise and explore the area at a leisurely pace. Overall, there are several transportation options available for getting around Wailuku and Maui, allowing visitors to choose the option that best fits their needs and budget. Parking is assigned and free. Your parking stall is the same number as the unit number you reserved. Guest parking is stalls 20 to 25. No Smoking in or around building. Smoking area by the street and must be 20 ft away from building. No Pets Mahalo for booking with us. For the enjoyment of all our guests and to create a pleasant environment , we need your cooperation. Quiet Hours: Please be mindful of your neighbors. We do not allow get together parties in the unit. Quiet hours are between 9 pm to 7 am -reduce your TV or Music volume.. If there is noise from an adjoining property. Let us know we will try to see if we can contact them to let them know. If there are roosters that are being annoying let us know and we will call a friend that likes to eat them and we will repurpose its life source to give it to someone who will cook a local style chicken dinner. We also have complimentary ear plugs if you need them for any reason. Bugs & Pests We live in a very tropical climate. Jurassic Park the movie was filmed in many parts of the island. You will experience seeing different insects and bugs during your visit. Geckos, large and small cockroaches, centipedes, scorpions, mosquitoes, different sizes of flies, seasonal gnats (not mosquitoes), a variety of ants, moths, beetles, cane spiders, crab spiders, praying mantis etc. This is normal part of life here in Hawaii. Rubbish This is not mandatory. We are struggling like most businesses to find good people to work. Our cleaners are essential workers and they have been through so much especially during the pandemic. They help us clean and serve all our guests to ensure a sanitary and safe room. They would greatly appreciate it if you have the time when vacating to remove any rubbish and throw it into the green dumpster to the left front of the building. I would have preferred a drip coffee maker vs. the Keurig as we had coffee making supplies. Location/neighborhood - Not the location you want to be in as a holiday spot. On a noisy/busy road in somewhat of an industrial/business district. It served it's purpose for us as a place to sleep before heading out to our flight the next day. On 8/10 we secured flight for 8/12 which left us looking for a room outside of the affected areas for 8/11 and possibly beyond. Thank God we were able to get this room. The owner was so kind. The location was safe and convenient. After days of very little food, we had breakfast at a very good local spot(Tasty Crust) about a mile up the road, Also, There was this little convenience store across the street from the hotel that made nice local food. We brought their Bento boxes and spam and hot dog musubi to the airport the next day. Thank God we were able to get home safely.
