New appliances, new kitchen, and new paint throughout. Enjoy the panoramic ocean view while you are relaxing on the couch or preparing a drink in the kitchen. As a ground floor unit, you can extend your relaxation directly to the grass and beach. During winter months, you can see whales directly from the living room. The beach is 20 steps away right outside the back door. The corner unit provides more generous sunshine while giving the best privacy in the community. This is a one bedroom one bathroom ground floor condo unit in the Ma’alaea Banyan complex, about 558 sqft. The ground-floor condo makes it easily accessible and convenient to unload your luggage and groceries while walking directly to nature and the beach. Ma’alaea Banyan has a heated pool and hot tub. It is right in the middle of the building. BBQ near the pool. There is a small sandy beach right outside of the unit. You can access Maui’s longest sandy beach through Haycraft Park at the end of the road. It is a 5-minutes 0.2-mile walk. Very nice. No problems. Host Joanne was great. This might be the nicest unit in the complex, being corner and ground floor, and the complex is also really nice. Great views, with one small caveat: there’s a hedge on the right side of the property that obstructs some of the view to the west. The sun rises directly over Haleakala crater in the morning, as viewed from the condo patio. Saw hundreds, maybe thousands of whales from the unit’s patio in Jan 2024: amazing! Went on a whale watch with Trilogy and saw so many whales!!! The beach is right across the lawn; it’s small, but there were as many as 10 turtles on the beach every day or evening. The location is very convenient: 15-30min drive to just about everything, and the harbor where boat trips leave is just a few blocks away. You’ll get a couple of cryptic emails from Betterstay LLC; we were suspicious of these at first, but it’s the management company; they ask you to install an app called DACK, which we saw of no value, so no need to install it. There are 2 nice beach chairs, 3 sets of decent snorkel equipment and an umbrella (it was too windy for the umbrella and snorkeling anywhere, in Jan 2024). Great experience! ##### John O.
