The pool was great and a perfect temperature to soak for hours. the beach was just a 15 min walk away but on a hot day it was easier to drive and parking was free at the Lava Beach Club. The shops nearby were great including the market for ready to go food. We had stayed on the other side of the island and liked being with a local community outside of closed communities.
