The community is brand new and guard gated. It had all the amenities that we needed and more and we definitely made use of them; beach gear, coolers, towels, toiletries and more. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Away from all the tourist clatter. You wake up to a beautiful view with mountains on each side and the ocean in the middle. The nearby beaches are easy to get to and not crowded at all. Plenty of activities and places to see. This is located in a new home construction area, but we sleep with sound machines, so the noise was not a disruption for us. It's a gated community, so we felt very secure. Area surrounding the house is amazing as it sits right in the valley. The bed wasn’t super comfortable in my opinion but everyone has their likes so it’s hard to always find a house with a bed you like. A word to travelers not familiar with Oahu; this property is on the FAR west side of Oahu. You will be at least an hour away from most things like Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Diamond Head, North Shore, etc. I am very familiar with Oahu so I knew where I was staying. The beaches on the west side are very local and full of homeless. The two main towns on the way which are Waianae and nanakuli, are not places you want to be especially if you’re a tourist. Unless you know the west side or have business on this side I wouldn’t recommend a stay here. Ka’ena point is near Makaha and very nice to visit but that’s about all most people will find enjoyable on the west side. Nothing against the house, it’s beautiful and in a gated community but it’s very far from most of what Oahu has to offer. ##### Lenny M.
