It is actually 90 km and takes 2 hours to drive, most of which is on very narrow, windy mountain roads. The views are beautiful but we were not planning for such a long and harrowing drive. It is 27 km if you are a crow or have a helicopter. Description of hotel location is extremely deceiving! It is not close to Flam. Only close to Myrdal by a regional train that goes infrequently to a small train station that nobody knows!! Only reachable by train which we could not make because of cargo train derailment!! Owners do not answer phone much. We could reach them only once and they never answered afterwards when we were stranded in Myrdal. They never even texted us back. They offered no real solution nor were particularly friendly. Too far from Flam!!! Deceiving explanation saying they pick up from Flam Railway (they do NOT!). They only pick up from a small station 19 minutes only by train to Myrdal!!! No road connection from Myrdal. It is 2 hour drive from Flam!!
