It was such a warm welcome after a long drive from Kona and the property is well maintained with beautiful flowers outside. Check-in and check-out was super easy and my family really enjoyed the games included in the home. There's connect 4 and tic tac toe on the walls and home has 3 floors so it allows some separation for a large group if some want to rest while others eat or do social activities. It gets a bit chilly at night and heated blankets were also provided in the closet. We did see a few bugs in the home but that's hard to avoid in Hawaii. Recommend keeping food packed away to not attract bugs in the kitchen. Great stay, highly recommend. Loved that they had no shoes in the house sign, growing up in an Asian household that's a given and it's nice to stay in a vrbo where previous guests are encouraged not to wear outside shoes all over the house inside. ##### Wenling L. For example the bedspreads are white online but they are brightened so much you can’t tell they are actually dark grey. Carpet was gross. I’ll post pictures below. The bathrooms are old and dated but those pictures aren’t part of the listing. Also it doesn’t have air conditioning and it had a musty smell when you walk in. I requested to stay one day less since our flight was early in the morning and it’s a 2 hr drive to get there. It was denied because I booked a nonrefundable room. It’s understandable but flexibility would’ve been so appreciated. It was close to the national park which was awesome especially since we desperately wanted to see the eruption in action! Owner was very accommodating since we had some last second changes.
