The first-floor entry allows for easy access to the well-equipped kitchen, living space, and bedrooms. With an option of two pullout beds for fourteen people with five and a half bathrooms, Anchor Down provides space and fun for families, small or large parties. Multiple TVs with port accessibility for your own gaming and two large smart TVs (one located in the living space and one in the pool room) provide indoor entertainment. The outdoor in-ground pool, lounge area, grill, patio set, and bar are the perfect set up for catching some rays with outdoor entertainment options. The fully equipped pool house offers a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, full bathroom, and couch, making this a convenient spot for quick snacks and a nice place to hang out. Anchor Down is a short walk from the Sandbridge Market, offering everything you need from fresh fruit, premade foods, hand-cut steaks, steamed shrimp, incredible house-made doughnuts, toiletries, wine, and beer. You are also close to the Sandbridge Shoppes, a great option for Sandbridge apparel, beach accessories, ice cream, and a restaurant offering steam pots and lobster rolls! Not only does Anchor Down’s interior make for a bright and cheery stay, but its unique look-out room also offers beach views and a quiet place to unwind, so anchor down and enjoy the best of Sandbridge Beach while feeling right at home. Please be aware that this home is not Pet-friendly due to the owner's severe allergies. THINGS TO KNOW The pool cabana is winterized (and not operational) from the beginning of November through the end of March of each year. The pool will be open from late April through early/mid-October. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The property was well maintained overall. - with one exception. Upon arrival we encountered an issue with the front door keyless entry. We called management and the rep tried to assist us but it was determined that there was a problem and was told someone would come to fix the lock but no one came the entire time we were there. We all commented how this would be our dream home and how the location was perfect. The rooms were comfortable, 3 rooms had their own bathrooms while a 4th and 5th bedroom shared one. The living area was open and that was great for our family. The laundry room had all the amenities we needed washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. The kitchen was fully equipped and it had two refrigerators which was good for storing extra food/drink. The house was a walk-in which was great since we had a lot of elderly guests which we gave the downstairs bedrooms so they wouldn't have to climb the stairs. The pool was a nice size and the pool house was a great addition as it included a tv area, foosball table and a full bath. There was an outdoor shower to get the sand out when coming from the beach. The house was within walking distance of the beach and a small supermarket who had the best donuts. The house was super clean and if I had any questions the owners were quick to respond. Everything was perfect when we arrived and very clean, we were not disappointed. Check in was very easy as well as check out with very little to do compared to other places we have rented. Very comfortable home with everything we needed. The walk to the beach was very easy and with the placement of the home we were not crowded at the beach. The management staff for the home were great and contacted us soon after we arrived to make sure everything was up to expectations and if they could do anything for us in any way. House was perfectly set up for two families with double master suites upstairs and a wing with three bedrooms for kids downstairs. Our families loved the pool and the teens had fun taking over the pool house. Extra beverage fridge was so helpful. One of the best properties we have rented. ##### Lindsay R. Anchor Down is the most well equipped beach home I have stayed in! The house was clean and well planned, beds comfortable, pool was amazing and the Cabana was such a nice space to hang out.
