One of the two laundry rooms is located on the third level, with the second laundry room on the middle level. Four additional bedrooms (all bedrooms have TVs) are located on the second floor, each with private baths. There is a large gathering room with a pool table, TV, mini-fridge, ice maker, and 5.1 Sound System for loads of fun and relaxation. We stayed at “AM I Dreaming” over Easter weekend and loved it. The place was very clean and had all you need for entertainment and cooking. The view is spectacular, and the deck space and furniture are perfect for hanging out and watching the sunset. The kayaks were a bonus and are not listed as an amenity. Sep 4, 2024 #### Perfect for a crowd This was our first visit to "Am I Dreaming" and it is exactly as the photos show. It's an awesome house with beautiful views and great amenities. The view of the bay and the sunsets is spectacular. The beach is just a short 2 block walk away. The house has everything you need for a family vacation - air hockey, foosball, pool table, shuffleboard, lots of TV's and a beautiful movie room. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could ever need for meal prep. Having several refrigerators and two dishwashers is a real plus when you have a houseful of people. We did have one small issue with the front door knob and Vacasa was very responsive to our request and had it repaired. A couple suggestions - The house could use more towels. There were just enough for one per person and, often that's not enough. So a few extra would be helpful. We knew there were no beach towels and brought our own, so that was not a problem. Suggestion number two - the house needs a deep cleaning. Jul 26, 2023 #### Family Vacation We really enjoyed the house overall end of the location with proximity to the beach. The house was clean, stocked with all of the necessary items and had plenty of space and activities to entertain both in and outdoors. We were disappointed by the pool area as it was very dark at night, and basically unusable. The pool did not have a light which made it very dangerous, as we could not see kids in the water- we reached out on day two and basically got the run around. The house was a quick walk to the beach, which was great. The beach was clean and not overcrowded as it appeared to be more of a local/family beach. ##### Angela H. Jan 27, 2023 #### House with great potential The design of this home is perfect for families traveling with teens, tweens and elders. The second-floor game room with adjacent bedrooms provide separate spaces for adults and youth to congregate and enjoy. The elevator makes movement easy for groceries and individuals with limited mobility. The multiple decks--some covered, some not--allow this home to be enjoyed rain or shine. The spectacular view of the bay through the windows on each floor provides a feeling of being outdoors without enduring the elements. We rented during a hurricane. Feb 15, 2023 #### Great for everything but needs a good cleaning Everything about Am I Dreaming was great except it needs a good cleaning and some repairs. There were cobwebs filled with bugs across the entire kitchen ceiling. The sliding glass doors were filled with dead bugs. Some of the screens were ripped. The carpet was old and stained throughout the second floor. Some of the bulb lights were out. The kitchen drawers were dirty inside. It truly is a great house and perfect for families - just needs a good cleaning. ##### Kelly D. Feb 10, 2023 #### The house itself is beachside BUT… For the amount of money paid to rent a house it should be perfect. That was not the case. The house was not clean and toilet paper holders and towel racks were broken off the wall and set on the floor. I took about 60 pictures and that wasn’t everything that was wrong. There was trash, bugs, some beds looked slept in, couch had nasty spots on it, mold in the refrigerator, this is just to list some of the stuff wrong. It was very disappointing considering I had to spend an extra $1700 on top of what the house already cost to have a special event. Y’all really dropped the ball taking over from Sandbridge realty. May 12, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Untapped Potential The house is great! We had a great time because of the occasion. We know how to make the best out of less than ideal circumstances. The outside of the house was fithly, the sliding glass doors, screens, deck’s & balconies and front door were in need of power washing. The old greasy grill needed to be replaced. Thanks to Misty England the grill was replaced with a brand new one. The elevator didn’t work, but the maintenance team came to fix it so my elderly members could use it. The lawn was not cut or trimmed, the pool area was cluttered with dust, spider webs, etc. The pool maintenance team came on the third day of my 4 day vacation to clean the pool and refill the jacuzzi in the middle of our celebration. The two men did a good job with minimal interference. However, it should have been scheduled with me. The ice maker in the kitchen did not work. Despite these issues, my family made the best of a less than ideal situation. The Vacasa team did their best.This house is wonderful but ownership needs to make sure it is thoroughly cleaned & power washed, grass cut, elevator operative, pool and jacuzzi fully functional and clean—-otherwise charge less because I feel a partial refund is warranted given the series of inconveniences, and limited use of balconies, decks, lawn areas, pool and jacuzzi because the areas were not cleaned or properly prepared for our usage. ##### Anthony L S. Jan 26, 2023 #### Wish we were still dreaming This is a wonderful home. Fit our family with room to spare. Beautiful sunsets. Elevator is wonderful...however it does not stop on the "game tables" floor and it is4 steps down to garage/pool levels so NOT ADA compliant. Cleaners were still in home after 4pm and everything they did manage to "clean" was smeared. Sad!! The first floor by door from garage was filthy...as tho they had swept everything to that spot...and then forgot to clean it out. We re-cleaned... which for the amount paid in rental we should not have had to do. King Master bedroom bedspread had blood on it and Queen bedroom below it bedspread had large stain on it. Cleaning crew should be checking these things. The home itself was beautiful...pool area terrific...bay view was gorgeous...proximity to ocean was perfect. All in all a wonderful week. So sorry to hear that fees have been added to this home for this week next year so it is over $8000.00/wk rather than the $5600.00 we paid this year. Apr 16, 2023 Liked: Check-in, location Disliked: Cleanliness, communication #### Bottom line: Rent your vacation property from one of the local companies - NOT Vacasa We are frequent beach vacation renters in different locations on the east coast. This was by far the lowest quality property for the money we have rented. Here are some specifics: 1\. As other reviewers have noted - this property needs a deep cleaning and more maintenance. Most visible surfaces were clean but if you look closely under beds, on doors, around furniture and other areas it is dirty. Furniture needs cleaning. 2\. Communicating with Vacasa is horrible. You speak with a general customer service agent and get no accurate information. I reached out to get details about the pool and elevator. It took several days to get a response and the information was not accurate. You are not allowed to speak to the actual office in Virginia Beach - and I specifically asked on multiple occasions. 3\. The elevator is useless. There are steps to get into the property and on every floor. The elevator barely fit my son's wheelchair - he is 10 - and me. An adult in a full size wheelchair would never fit - or even be able to access the house because the stairs going in. It stopped working completely on our last day and we had to carry our 10 yr wheelchair bound son down 4 levels. ##### Jacinta C. Jun 29, 2022 #### My family loves Dreamimg Our 2nd visit not the last. The view, deck, sunsets . Perfect setup for large family (17)vacation. Spacious, well equipped kitchen for beginner or expert, , refrig on every floor and pool side. Kids hung out at pool, hot tub, spent lots of time in theater, some in game room. Puzzle a day. Fished and kayak daily.
