Kitchen cabinets door and drawers were broken Ground fault receptacle in kitchen was in operable, and had an extension cord from the microwave all the way across the kitchen table to the outlet across the room. The main entrance door did not have the strike plate for the deadbolt bathroom door didn’t have the strike plate at all. The air conditioning worked extremely well, but all the vents haven’t been cleaned in a while and had all kind of mold and dust, trapped behind the vents. We had to provide seasonings but towels and dishes were plenty. The washer and dryer is also not in the condo but a part of the building. It is a paid washer and dryer as well. We didn’t know that when we booked. Home owner was pleasant and polite and worked well with us if an issue arose. Overall a very pleasant stay. The condo was clean and in a great location. The check in process was easy but different than what I am used to with VBRO. As for the description of the property, it was mostly accurate, except for the beds. The bed additional bed besides the queen beds in the rooms was an air mattress. Also, there were dishes on the table (for decoration) and comforters on the beds (also for decoration) which were NOT to be used by guests. IMO, do away with the untouchable decoration, and tell guests to bring their own blankets. The decorative plates and comforters needed to be removed before we could use the table and beds which created additional work for me and I was on vacation. There was also an issue with a concert flag we hung in the window. Apparently, another resident took a picture of the flag and contacted the owner which prompted the owner to contact me 1 week after our stay. The flag was for a band and wasn't religious, political or profane. I was also contacted by the owner the first night of our stay about a piece of mail they were expecting. Overall, the condo was nice and in a great area, close to the beach. ##### Jennifer M. The host is super friendly and accommodating. Her property manager was punctual and accommodating as well when the keyless entry failed on us. I tried not to complain, but I did need to advise there were mouse droppings in the dresser drawers, as they just need to know, in order to get ahead of that potential problem. The condo was not clean when we arrived. I had to wipe down a couple walls that had something on them. It all came off with a paper towel and some soap and water. Nothing too serious, but it looked gross. The toilet had feces stuck to the toilet seat and mold rings in the toilet. The floors had a couple pebbles and beach sand and random ripped pieces of paper that needed to be vacuumed up. So, I had to clean the place before we could settle in. We were there for a week and didn't feel comfortable sitting at the dining table because there were decorative place settings set up, with a note that specifically says not to use those dishes on the table and to use the ones in the cabinet. That's fine, but, why have them there to begin with? There was nowhere to put them to get them out of the way, so we just left them there and used to provided TV trays in the closet. There was another note stating we couldn't use the duvet or pillows on the beds either, so, yet another discomfort. Thankfully we brought our own pillows and blankets. The 2 minute walk to the beach was worth it all though! It is centrally located!! ##### Tabitha T. It was a rough start though with not being able to get ahold of our host for the entry code. Our drive (myself and two teenage daughters) was 10 hours, so when we arrived at our condo, we were ready to unwind. I followed the host’s instructions. Text the provided number when we were getting close and we were supposed to receive an entry code. I got no response from the provided number. I called, no response. At this point we are getting pretty upset. Check in is at 4 and it’s now 5:30\. I called VRBO customer service and they were excellent. The rep tried the host and after no response she began the process of finding us a new place. In the meantime we were going to go find a place to eat and a little after 6 the host called us back. She was apologetic and gave us the condo code. Even though I wanted to find a new place to stay, the easiest thing was to keep our reservation. The rest of the trip went well and we had a nice time. The place was very clean, a couple things werent in "brand new" condition, BUT they were few and far between and caused no functionality issues, just cosmetic. And that was me trying to think of anything that stopped it from being PERFECT. They were fully stocke on Paper towels, TP, towels, and several kinds of soap, ie hand soap, dish soap etc(no shampoo/conditioner🤷) All in all i had a SPLENDID time, my next trip to VA to see my fiance, i will hopefully be able to stay there again, unless its booked! would 100% recommend to friends family!!! The inside was decorated ok, but the couches in the living room were quite worn with metal bars running through them. The beds were comfortable and there were no issues with the electronics or wifi. Upon attempting to check-in we had some challenges getting a reply from the owners to get the code to get in but did eventually get that information about 1 hour late. The bathroom of the condo could use some maintenance around the bottom of the walls. The kitchen has some cooking supplies but were pretty poor quality . The main negative experience was my wife did see a roach in the bedroom one night. I killed it and we didn't see any other bugs the rest of the duration of the week but it was still on our minds. We enjoyed our stay at Virginia Beach and the location of the Condo is great. I would most likely try to find a different rental in that general area on our next trip. ##### Ottis C. The location is perfect, near beach and boardwalk (short walk), close to movie theater, mini golf, and jet skiing/parasailing/fishing (short walk/very short drive). The condo has two small bedrooms with good queen beds, a family room with coaches and a big chair in good condition, small breakfast area with a table and 4 chairs, and a small kitchen with a fridge and burner(4) and oven which were are in working condition. The dishwasher didn't work properly; the owner said they had repaired it recently but it couldn't empty water twice in one week of our stay; I guess it needs to be replaced. I made almost all our food inside the condo for a week and I could find almost all the items I needed. The air-condition works well but is kind of noisy. The best part about the condo was the convenience, we only needed to walk 5-10 mins to get to the festival which was on the beach. I gave it another shot in the hope's that the issue with the beds would have been corrected, however it was not. They are so hard and uncomfortable that even with egg crates on them it was still incredibly uncomfortable. Also, the couches are dated and they sink in when you sit on them, the shades in the bedrooms were so dusty and underneath the beds appeared as though it had not been cleaned in months.
