Three Valley Gap Ghost Town is a recreated heritage town, set beside the Three Valley Lake Chateau on the shore of the Three Valley Lake. As well as the heritage town display, there is also an Antique Auto Museum, a Railway Roundhouse and gift shop to browse.

Start your visit with a stroll around the 25 historic buildings. Rescued from various locations and restored to their former glory, the homes, civic buildings and shops provide a fascinating insight into life in the 1800s.

Admire the pioneering spirit of the early miners at the Monashee Mining Co. display. The short-lived gold rush led to many towns being abandoned and becoming ghost towns.

Learn about the near-forgotten skills of the blacksmith and watchmaker. Other highlights include the saloon, jail, old school house and general store. Delve deeper into each building to see what was the norm back then. Authentic furniture and displays bring each new scene to life.

Marvel at the 14 antique cars on display in the Antique Auto Museum. All hailing from the early 1900s, the collection includes several early Fords. Don’t miss the unusual white 1912 Model T.

Head into the huge Railway Roundhouse to see the steam engines and wagons. Its central large turntable was used to maneuver the different carriages and engines into place. Climb on board an old steam train and pretend you are here to make your fortune.

If you need a break from browsing, relax with a picnic by the lake or visit the café for a homemade-style meal. For a real treat, get a table at the Monashee Dining Room with its lake views. The Three Valley Gap Ghost Town is situated 12 miles (19 kilometers) to the west of Revelstoke on the Trans Canada Highway. There is an entrance fee, with family rates available.
